those are both powder skis and would be good if you go outwest but people will look at you like a moron if you have powder skis in ohio

those skis are so sick. i wish i had money to get them

i like the fed-ex driver cause hes' a drug dealer and he don't even know it."

The VICIOUS (please fucking spell it right) will handle any conditions just fine. Of course, it will excel in western conditions, but will work just fine on your icy Ohio hills.

Also, don't center mount them unless you never leave the park. +5 or so will be just fine.

basing what skis you buy on graphics is a great idea.....

in my opinion, I wouldn't get the SV for Ohio. Yeah it is a fucking sick ski, but it doesn't hold an edge as well as a PE or AR5 due to its width. Wide skis are nice for landing, but if your on ice all the time I would get something stiffer and thinner.......i'm sure some skis fitting that description have sick graphics as well....

if you are to get seth skis, go with the pistols just because there not as wide as the vicious

You know you have the coolest cab driver when he says, 'And we're off like a prom dress.'

the difference between the SP and SV is not so much in the width, which is only 5mm in the tip and 3mm in the waist, but in the flex pattern.

THe SV is suppose to be better in Powder but not as good on hardpack....so I would maybe look at getting a SP instead. Plus, it will be Alot cheaper.

^ thats wrong i have skied them and with the different sidecut they are alot better on the hardpack than the pistols. They are about the same in the Powder as the pistol was i bought a pair of 179's today

Gropen Frau Lmao!

I ate a lava lamp it wasn't lava

The progressive sidecut in the SV is meant for them to be better in both the pow and hardpack than the Pistols.

oh...ok. I thought it was the other way around. Sick then.

either way, the SP and SV are sick skis. I guess it depends how much money your willing to spend.....

I'm around 6' 2" tall, will the 179 SV be long enough?

Will be spending the season in the french Alps so will prob only be spending 40% of the time off piste...

I'd go for the 189 is it?

I'm 5'10" and I got the 189 for just everyday skiing.

If you actually going to be skiing with the SV get the 189 and mount +5

Why would you choose a fat ski as your only ski when you live in OHIO. Sure maybe you go out West and East a few times a year but why wouldn't you choose a ski that suits what you ski on. Get the Fujatives or something narrower, you'll be happier in Ohio and still be able to shred pow for the one or two days a years you get to ski it.
