Seth vicious quesion

hey i was wondering for a 169 05/06 seht vicious if a +7 cm is good for all mountain my friend got a pair and he wants to know thanks

im 6'1" and have the 189s, so theyre a bit big for park, but it's doable. but ive seen and heard of lots of people who rip those in the park. sweet ass flex for a big ass ski.

im about 5"11 and 200 riding 179 seths....for pow they get a bit sinky...but i just need a bigger ski....otherwise, all mountain at +5, they are fucking incredible.

im 5'11" and i have the 179 mounted at plus five... friggin amazing at all mountain... not a fan of them in the park... progressive sidecut doesnt lend itself to skiing switch and they're like a windmill when you spin them off big kickers... if you get them though dont mount them any further than +5... when im in deep stuff I wish they were a little further back. +7 will hurt the all mountain and pow riding. id go somewhere in the +3 to + 5 range

yea im thinkin about gettin some 169's cuz i dont want a huge ski i had 177's and they felt like to much and im only about 125lbs but im mounting them 2behind center any suggestions

i have 169's im about 5'7" and around 165 lbs. and i have mine at +2 and they ride great all mt. and park i really like them on jumps not so much on rails tho great ski's

THEY WILL OWN ANYTHING THROWN AT THEM

I couldn't be happier with mine. They're really fun to take off huge booters, because they're so stable.

I'd think that +7 on 169s would be a little far forward. I've got 189s mounted at +5, and I always wish that they were at +2 or 3 in heavy crud and pow (actually, I just wish the skis were about seven or eight cms longer, but that's not gonna happen). The up side of having a more forward mount is you can land switch in any snow condition. To get an accurate answer though, tell us your height, weight and what percentage of each kind of condition you'll be skiing (park, pow, crud, groomers, bulletproof ice, etc).

sickest ski i've ever been on. they will eat any terrain. i'm 5'9", 155 lbs and i have my 179s mounted at +5.

next year's Seth will have a slight rocker in the tip and tail... stoked!

ive got the 04/05 mounted at +2 for my powder skis and backcountry, i had em mounted at +7 but i didnt really like then for the park, but they rip the the backcountry
