Seth Vicious in the East?

I'm looking to get the Seth Vicious probably in a 179. I'm 5'10 175 lbs. I live in the east and would only occasionally be hittin the pow. First- would this be what i want? I like stiffer skis but I'm already on the Karma's so something a little different all around could be good. Or should I just get the PE's?

i saw a guy at belleayre (NY) that had them and they looked like they would be fine for the east. though i think that the karma is better.

I've got last years Pistols and I live in Vermont. I ski them over my PE's pretty much any day of the week, regardless of whether there is powder or not. I haven't taken them out yet due to the thin base cover, but as soon as we get some more snow, the PEs will be put away and the Pistols will take center stage. Once you go fat, you'll never go back. I'm getting SVs next year.

Depends on where he skis the most. I'm 180lbs and ski the woods 90% of the time. I ride 179 Pistols and they do fine for me. Not too long for the tighter trees we have in the east. Good for ventures in the park. And they handle whatever speed I throw at them. Plus the SV is stiffer so I can only imagine the 179 would be just that much sicker. But that's just me.

You like stiff skis, Sp's are not stiff. Vicious is stiffer and the 06 Public Enemies (Great skis) are stiffer than Vicious. I have the PE 179 and I flexed the 179 Vicious Sunday, flex felt exactly like my 180 Line Motherships (also great ski). I'll have to demo the Vicious.Think PE or Vicious.

i'm in central new york...i'm riding 189's mounted core center and couldn't be happier...I like them much better than my 183 STL's. They rock on hardpack, groomers, or as I found out today...the ice. They carve amazingly well for being so large and are very manageable. However I am glad to have the option of riding either as it is nice to have a pair of skis that I know can stand up to rails as I don't want to ruin my SV's.

get the Seth Vicious. 100 is the new 80. There not too fat. Plus its a much funner and sicker ski than the PE in my opinion. But its your call. Do u like stiff skis or soft skis?
