I saw em today in fernie...fuck are they ever sick. They look way cooler in my hands then they do in the magazines....pictures just don't capture how sick this ski is. Definitly buying a pair next season.

I have been skiing mine for about 6 days now...and they are sick...huge confidence builders! and no K2 is building them. go and get a pair

They are the uglyest ski ever... K2 is amazing and a bet the skis are too... but sooo ugly, they are real soft too (for flexing while carving in pow) they are also a bit too big for park and all mountain.

I didn't think they were as soft as the pocket rockets or the motherships though...which is good.

and yah, the seth pistol is made for riding big mountain, i'm sure they weren't even thinking about the park when they built it, that's what the public enemy is for.

the pistol is for going big. you can bring it in the park. you'll be a rail master with the amount of gerth under the boot. but if your gonna take jumps then you better be willing to spin slow and go big. they are a poor pipe ski though. they do work but they take some getting used to.

80% big mountain

20% park.

excelletn ski and the graphics are absolutley amazing. i've waited since the 80's for neon to come back in and here it is.

Like rocky_mtn said, it was developed for air in the 15 ft. and above range. They work fine in the park IF you go big, besides that, they're big mountain with cliff drops in mind. Designed to lighten the landing and give better flotation and control through the deeps. There was alot of work put into the development of this ski, I hope you like it.

 
Think seth skis different ones then the ones the sell in stores. They are way too soft. They would be sketchy going off and 80ft cliff in those, hell a 30ft cliff. They are def. sick though. They are about half as stiff as the motherships.

no, they are designed for his style which is carving in powder and alot of back seat stuff, the soft design is there for a reason, the other thing is that the ski feels softer than it is, that huge twin makes it feet soft

 
yeah, seth wanted them to be soft in the tail, i read an article that said he really liked the mothership and the karhu jak, and wanted his pro model to be similar.

my motherships have a huge tail, but they don't feel soft.

maybe they were talking about last years mo'ships... i know this years have that titanium thing to stiffen them... i don't know. maybe.

Gregg, you have that a little wrong. The 03 motherships and the jaks were always the same. People were just skiing on the jaks earlier.

Go on the Seth Pistol website. I've had Seth respond to my posts and he swears that he skis skis off the rack. So in his words 'you have what I have'. It's sweet, he's replying to posts and stuff. I got mine and i was really worried that they would be too soft for me, but everyone that has actually been on these skis say they are the sickest ever. The huge twin tip makes them feel soft when flexing them on the showroom floor. I can't wait to get on mine, and we're finally getting snow in the rockies and interior BC.

 
i have my pistols sitting here, waiting to be unleashed! i cant wait to go ride them at vail in a couple days!
