Seth Pistols to much for me?

I can get a really good deal on some seth pistols. The only problem is they're size 189cm. That's pretty big. I'm 5'11' and 150lbs. I do 20%park, 78%groom, and 2%powder. Is this ski to much for me?

i think your a bit small for it man, but if it's an unbelieveable deal go for it and it'll take a while but you'll get used to it.

SO HOT RIGHT NOW.

you should get them and then sell them on the fucken ebay for much more. and then you'd get bout 200$ extra, so you'd be able to buy almost any skis you want

^^^But I kind of want SP's. Maybe when I get them someone will trade me for a smaller size. Unless you think 189 will work for me.

You probably wont be able to swap them for 179s very

easily cos 179s are the most popular length. 190 is well cheap though so you could probably sell them for more. They sound a bit long for you though unless you just do backcountry stuff.

i dunno...id rock em!

Jeepers Creepers, where'd you get the neat sneakers?!?!

hehehe giggle giggle giggle

Get em and sell em. K2 runs big though. Im exactly your size, and i got some 89 Madens. They turned out to be huge. If youre looking for a BC ski, you just gotta think about it. Its already a fat ski, i wont need to have them long to get great float. If you dont buy those SP for 200, let someone else on here get em, cuz thats a sik deal.

>Out.

^Well, to be perfectly honest, you're pretty small to be using 189s; 179s would be more your size... but even in that case, the fact that you said '2% powder' makes me wonder why you'd need a 95mm waist ski at all, much less a 189 long one. The pistols do well on groomers for a fat ski, but they're not great, and they're actually pretty poor on ice, as far as I'm concerned... Once there's some fresh stuff on the ground (even a few inches), they're incredible, but if you don't ski powder much, there's simply no reason for you to want those skis. On top of that, there's almost certainly someone else around who WOULD be able to make good use of them. Let them do so.

just a thought though.... you could try getting the pistols then trading em for enemies...

if they're a good deal buy them. If I've learned one thing on this site, it's that long skis are steezy.

The skull thump. A quick blow usually dealt to the side or back of the head. Simply flick them in the head with your finger. An alternative is to smack your child up side the head with your palm. Very useful for teaching your child to read when he or she makes a mistake. Hitting your child when he or she is learning builds confidence, or undermines confidence--I can't remember which. - Maddox (www.maddox.xmission.com)

i have a pair of 179 pistols used about 15 days (in near perfect condition) that i would trade for the 189s...lemme know dude

dude the 189's are PERFECT for you. you would regret it if you got 179's. 189's are still good for the park and everything. trust me dude.

yeah, i dunno if you would like them on the groom. they are a powder ski.

if I lived in the west I would not hesitate a second...I'm only 5'10'' and I still use skis around 180, used longer ones too. even if you aren't planning on keeping them just buy 'em and resell them dude...make money

i hope harvey bans you just so i can piss on your digital grave.

id trade you some brand new 179 pe's with brand new look p12 ti's pm me if your interested , theyve been skied on twice

dude I'm 5'11 150-160 pounds and I rock the 189 pistols. i was a little worried at first but they are such sweet skis I have no problem even in really tight trees. it helps if you mount them forward like 3 or 4 cm so you have less ski infront of you plus you can land switch in anything

I was just about to add my two cents about you getting pistols, and I was like, wait, I just posted to him about ARV's, THEN, I looked at your recent posts in your profile... seriously man, just buy some skis

dude, you're plenty big to be riding 189s. Pistols aren't that stiff of a ski anyway, so you shouldn't have any problems as long as you are a powerful skier. I'm on 185s right now and my next pair of skis will probably be 189 made'ns. you can always centermount and take off some of the swingweight if they are too big.

buy then sell them or trade with a shop or even try to trade with k2 they are a chill company.

I'll drive it untill the wheels fall off, then I'll buy new wheels!

ok dude u ski 2% POW!!!.... 2%!!!! u should not be getting these skis....get em sell em and get something more apropriate for urself...

I agree with Huckasorass. Anybody who says they ski 'mostly black dimonds' obviously has absolutely no need for Seth Pistols or any 95mm waist ski for that matter. Just get the cheapest skis you can find and be happy with it. It would be far worse to have insanely expensive skis without the skills to back it up. Plus you're from Ohio, man.(not to rag on the Midwest, but Seth Pistols have no use being there)
