Seth pistols compared to seth vicous

do the vicous perform like the pistols some one tell me what they think of them if they are worth it because i loved my pistols. lets just say that if they were i woman i would marry them
 
i have no idea because i havent skied either ski, but all i know the oringanal seth pistols had by far the sickest graffics ever, and they have all gone down hill sense then, same with the rossi scratchs, y did they have to leave the bright red and yellow with the naked chicks??
 
^word on that. does anyone know if the vicous is just as good as the pistols in bounds, just for curiosity sake.since they have almost the same sidecut
 
wish i could tell you, since everyone else didn't really give you an answer.

but i've got the 03 pistols and they are by far the best ski of all time...so if figured with a few years of testing and small modifications, the would have to be better don't you think. they are only 2mm wider on the tip, so you get the extra float on pow, but not so much change that it's going to really efect your turning radius on groom. plus they are a little stiffer so no more speed chatter as long as you are keeping a good edge.

all i know is that i can't wait until my first damn run on them!!!
 
The new ski is like a mm wider supposedly in the waist and the big difference is the progressive multi radius sidecut and a bit stiffer/ burlier flex pattern so it holds up better straightlining crud. I've skied both and it's a real improvement. As dope as the original Seths stll are the Vicious is for sure worth re-upping to.
 
SV is stiffer and more stable at speed than SP; tips don't chatter nearly as much. When letting them go wide open for hauling ass I wish I had gotten the 189cm. But for the trees, steeps, tight chutes, and slush bumps these were effortless.

SV arcs beautifully with much better edge hold than my SP. Granted it was total spring skiing at Squaw this weekend but I got to the mountain and up to the top at 8:45am and skied the tree line shadows of Shirly Lake Express chair where I knew it would be a bit icy and hard: very nice edge grip.

Steeps: I hit some cornices off of Granite Chief and hiked up to the Palisades: awesome on steeps. They come around so easily and don't hook even though they have sidecut.
 
well thanks for all the input and from what you all said about them being better then the pistols i know i won't be able to get on them this year
 
i was lookin at the viscious, and they have a zipper in the tail of one ski, and a safty pin int eh tail of the other, i dnt know if every one knows this already.
 
i never skied any of the pistol series, but i own and ride vicious's and they are great skis i use them everywhere
