Seth Pistol Questions

Well I just got the new seth pistols and I have a few questions for those of you who have had the chance to ride them a few times. First of all I wanna know, will they perform on groomers at all? And what about Ice? I have heard some people that were like oh they are terrible on hardpack but other people have said they do it all. I know they are amazing in powder and stuff, also how do they perform in the park? And last but not least, where would you reccomend mounting them?

well some people riding for K2 prefer these skis in the park over the PE for a wider alternative, jsut look at the parkasauras photos, everyone is riding them for park

they will handle nice in most everything, you just have to know how to ski. they don't ski like shitty rentals, sorry.

youre getting too into statistics, man. A good skier skis well on anything as long as its above the baseline models. the pistols are sick skiis and they can most likely do everything and more than you can.

 
Thanks guys for the feedback, I haven't skiied many other fat skis before, I've tried the pocket rockets, but that was out west, never tried a fat ski east where I live. I am a goos skiier though, I can ski any terrain at any speed and do some decent stuff in the park, so I should be fine, but I was just a bit worried about how they would perform on ice.

I ordered Public Enemy's and I received seth pistols for the same price. I'd be stupid to send them back, they can't be that bad for east, i mean its not like theyre gonna make me suck right?

Best of luck with em, I'm looking at those and the BCs. I hope they work out on the EC cause there's a big difference between 95mm under the foot and 72.

Read and think before you post. I've read in reviews that Pistols hold there own on groomers. But who skies groomers anyways?

They rock the park they rock the groomers and obviously the rock in the pow.

There fun if your just straight airing in the stunt ditch and they absolutely BLOW on ICE ande thats west coast ice and from what i have heard what people out here consider ice is nothing compared to back east and im talking about west coast ice which you never see very rarely so i loved them out here.

Thanks for all the help guys, and my question was, mounting them 3cm forward from centremount will give them more tail, which will make them better in the park, and not quite as good for all mountain? Is that right?
