Today I rode the lift in Vail with a K2 rep and he told me that Seth broke his ankle yesterday. I don't really know the details, but the rep said he was skiing and hit a stump. He was supposed to have surgery last night, and the rep didn't know when he is expected back on skis. If this is all true, get well Seth.

just wondering, how'd he hit a stump? that's east coast stuff, not something that'd you'd find in 20 billion feet of powder..... but then again, i've never skiied the west.....

The same thing happened to Seth 4 or 5 years ago. He was skiing in Alta early season and hit a stump below the now and was out for the season.
