Hey just to update anyone who didnt know... Seth broke his ankle at Vail, Co. three days ago. Didnt know if anyone had heard yet.

I think seth would know better than to be skiing in the trees in CO right now. There's hardly any snow! Seriously, he broke his ankle before in a similiar situation in Utah, it's highly unlikely that he would repeat a mistake like that.

 
It happened on Thanksgiving after almost a foot of fresh. The treeskiing was actually quite good. So I wouldn't it was stupid.

I live here and know the conditions. It did'nt snow that much over Thanksgiving, and besides, a foot is not enough!

Damn, isn't switch bitch the almighty. Yeah the stupid Seth Morrison, what the hell is that idiot doing? (Insert sarcasm here) It is true. Seth hurt himself and he'll be back on skis in February, just in time to ski and film lots.

Well I was skiing the trees at Vail on Thanksgiving, many of the lines through the trees were fine, others not. Yes there a nearly a foot of fresh not to mention the other 50 inches that had fallen in previous weeks. To say Seth Morrison didn't know what he was doing is a pretty stupid comment. He knew the risks he was taking and is a much better skier then both of us. Shit happens, and I wish Seth a speedy recovery.

I wasn't trying to make a personal attack on seth. I wish the best to him and hope for a speedy and full recovery.

Yes, there is enough snow out there to get some turns in....however...when I was out in the trees around copper last weekend, the thought in MY mind was, 'gee, this seems pretty sketch. I'd really like to be able to ski all season, and this dosen't seem worth the risk'. Sorry if I came off as harsh, that wasn't my intention.
