im getting a few new things for this season (boots, skis, bindings) and i want some people to give me some suggestions on what to gettt

i ride about 70% park 30% mountain. usually no powder

i was thinking karmas but im no expert and most of you know more about stuff than i do

yeah i tried research and had too many options

ok. we need more info

height

weight

soft or stiff preference

for bindings, im guessing you'd fit look px12's, 3-12 din. those are pretty much universal, cept for the people who like the fks' or a higher din (p18)

im 5'8, 160 lbs.

i like a stiff ski

idk if this is weird, but i like a ski thats not too light but boots that arent too heavy?

Skis.

T-hall's or Ar6's- 176cm.

Thrusters or Dumonts- 171/176cm

Invaders/Chronics- 178/177cm

Bindings.

Look Px12, p12, p10, or the rossignol equalivents.

Boots.

Try on a bunch of boots. I wear a Salomon Foil in a 27.5, and an SPK in a 26.5. Boots fit different, so try them on!

i was thinking

armada el rey skis with look px12 red&black bindings

and just finding some cheap boots at a local store or something

i like the el rey cause its an all around ski based on reports about it and its nice to my wallettt and the bindings i dont really know a lot about but some of u said something about them and they are cheaper

I e-punch the next person who recommends this kid a pair of boots.

but good bindings are the px12's they are fairly cheap and have a good reliable release without pre releasing.

i think the rampage's are pretty light..i am really pleased with the weight of them i dont find them to be heavy at all..like others have said the dumont or ar6 would be a great choice for you..

id go with the head mojo size 27.5 and as it happens i actually have a pair what a co-wink-e-dink. just pm me if ur interested

bindings- like everyone has said px12 and axials sound perfect. Look into fks if you really think you need something bombproof but px12s should be sufficient with your weight

skis- karmas are a good choice for a stiff almt/park ski. I don't know the exact flex of elrays but they will probably have a better park flex than karmas but still be a good all mt ski. They maybe a god ski to consider if your looking for a pricepoint ski. All others (invaders, fujis) will be too soft for all mt. I would also look into scratch wrs, sprayer fs (and whatever this years names are) ar6, chronics, tms, and walls

boots- like its been said no one can really recommend boots. you HAVE to try them on. If your riding alot of park, you should look into (but not limit yourself to) park oriented boots like spks or rampages. Try on alot of boots and buy whats most comfortable.

Apparently your stupid too.

The Krypton is VERY NARROW

The SPK is VERY WIDE

Get it through your heads that a boot needs to fit the shape of your foot. It is impossible for both of those boots to fit the same, unless they are punched out/worked on by a fitter.

spk is not VERY WIDE... I have a super normal foot, and spks are like a sock.

But go try on all the boots dood.

then go flex all the skis.

then go throw all the binders against the wall and but whatever doesnt explode.

Recomending boots is cool. Giving options of well liked, favorable boots is good. It points people in the right direction. Telling them two different style boots that are both widely liked sets the person up to try them both out and pick which he likes better.

Screaming "omgggg krpytons best boot ever" sends the person to Proctor Jones to buy asap. Giving them options sends them to a local shop to be hopefully sound advice.

Now, most of those post did that on accident, but they did that.
