Session at st marys

i wouldn't be surprised if there was stuff still up there, there was stuff people hauled up last year, a handrail, two of those metal benches, though there are some people who think of st. marys as their "turf" and hauled all the stuff to the top so "there wasn't too many people riding it." it's funny cause there's never that many people riding, usually just a bunch of hikers excited to throw snowballs at each other.

i might be heading up there tomorrow... ill let yall know how it is and if anything is set up.

ryanvdonk, quit hating, it's summer skiing

the first part was me being lazy, i really didn't hate at all, no need to get your panties in a bunch. and in the second commenet i said there was probably already some stuff up there, which is helpful. and yes i realize it's fairly pointless to defend myself over the internet, but im bored at work. have a good day mr. reed.

unfortunatley, no rails were set up. The snow is good and the upper part of the glacier is perfect for a rail line. We saw an SUV at the top, and asked some dude how ity got there, he said from winter park. So if you could truck some rails up there...itd be dope.

on sunday there was a little box, and a sketch rail (joints protruding made of pipes). there was a funny sledder who slipped and almost slid into the rocks below the mini cornice where there climbers are practicing snow safety and self arresting. still quite a bit of snow. what day did you go reed? oh and if you hik up the ridge to the skiers right, eclipse is the next ravine, you can see the oil drums at the bottom near the old t-bar right before you get to the parking area.

we went last friday, a week ago now. I saw what was left at eclipse and the barrels and all that jazz. I think were going to set up a rail on a snow patch at loveland pass this sunday...still gotta find a rail in the keystone junkyard though. Anyone have a rail to set up sunday?

anyone been up there recently, im wondering whats setup. if theres nothing im just gonna go to breck i guess

you should haul it up to breck's peak 10, hell i could throw it on my roof if you dont have a truck. I just took a 20 foot rail up there today. There's two other small rails too.

the top of peak9/10 has a patch of snow on it about 200 yards long perfect for rails. There's 3 up there right now, and maybe more soon. You have to 4x4 up, but there's no hike, park right next to the snow.

it was really cool. by the end of the day we had a line with a small triple barrel into a 20' single barrel into a trash can lid to do tail taps or whatnot. its definitely a fun place to hang out for a day. ill put pics up when im off work

ok im going to make a shot at this.... Breck rail session august 22nd and/or 23rd...i can bring my rail and it sounds like theres a few up there already...lets make a legit sesh here and get a few people in on it...everyone get those two days off! or at least one....feedback...?!

i would love to go, i wanna meet some skiers before the season starts, but i dont think my shitty corolla is gonna make it. ha

I have an xterra and hornbeck just bought a ghetto ass yota, so I'll let yall know if we have room.

ill be there friday and sat...anyone want to give me a ride from the base o breck to the rails? i have a civic, dont think shell make it...
