stop me if i'm wrong but it seems like all of north america is in a drought.. i live in slc and the resorts here are barely open... i know some people are still waiting to ski and most are skiing on almost all manmade snow... fuck, pray for snow.
 
seriously dude, you live in arguably the best ski city in the country. How bout any of us that live on the ec and get about 140" per year on a good year. WE need the snow
 
^^ you guys don't get my point.. i'm not complaining i'm just trying to point out how weird it is that it seems like nobody is getting snow...
 
i think all the snow is up in canada! at lake louise we have 120 of 140 runs open, and last weekend we had waist deep pow everywhere! best start to a season that i can remember!
 
Every mountain by where I live has delayed their opening indefinitely. We should have a 40" base by now, but instead we have 18". I love 8 year long droughts.
 
YOu guys all suck. He wasn't bitching about living in SLC, he was making a point that even the snowiest city around isn't getting much. And I lived in INDIANA for the first 18 years of my life. You know what our yearly total for snow was last year? 18 inches. shut up, and don't bitch about Connecticut or wahtever. later.

What the fuck are you talking about? You live in SLC and don't know that Alta, Snowbird, Brighton and Solitude all have 36in bases plus powder? You're the fucking idiot. Even Park City has a lot of snow, and the resorts never have record snowfall of snow 3 weeks into the year. You're dumb.

seriously, please do, because I do not want to have a shit winter, and also, just hold onto your horses! It's only early December! There are many many opprotunities for snow left.
 
it starts now. the north coast is getting hammered by rain right now and it looks like the jet stream is going to pass right over the SL for the next few days. peace.
 
our base is like 0-5 cm..but with the squalls we've been having it should be more. however next week its goin up to 7C. poop.
 
wheather patterns change, like would you complain if it was an unnormal spring and it took to look to warm up, no you wouldnt.. So just wait it out, it will snow.
 
i havnt gotten an inch in jersey not even a flake to stick, its been in the 20s but no snow, im makin my own snow now but its goin up to the 40s and even 50s nxt week I WANT SNOW ATLEAST U HAV MAN MADE SNOW
 
well you are wrong. global warming cant necessarily get rid of the precipitation. it would be a true effect of it if every ski area had rain, and not snow. well see that trend in a few decades for sure
