I think you would lose a lot of members if you made it pay. Its not about being a "true member" or not, its about some kids dont even have a credit card, there inder 18. I myself would not pay to be on here, I have other shit I need to pay that would come first. I would just move over to another ski site, thats all. Paying is the wrong answer.

The ones on the top of the screen that pop out all big when you mouse over them annoy the piss outta me. As for the content of the ads, who the fuck cares? NS has gotta make money and it's not like I spend any of my time looking at the ads -- unless of course they pop out when I accidentally move my mouse over them and block shit I want to click on. Whatever, I don't see any of them when I'm on my laptop (AdBlock and NoScript all motherfucking day), and I can deal when I occasionally check NS at school.
