how about a bit more info about rail and box size? i couldn't get it off the site, it may be worth the drive down, it sounds pretty sick

A little more info.....we are for sure having a 10 m flat rail with a pretty steep run in...it's one of the Camp of Champions rails. Mt. Seymour might possibly donate one more, and if so we will try to do a kinked or maybe a step-up rail for the finale.

For the rec division, we are turning one of the ledges into funboxes...the ledge is probably 15 feet long, wide enough to do some sick manouvers while going down.

All concrete underneath, so if you got a full face helmet, you might want to bust it out!

There will definately be some injuries i believe!

freestyla- we are capping the registration so there won't be too much waiting....plus it's a comp...you always wait around more than you actually ride.

anyone who wouldn't want to wear a helmet in an offseason rail jam over concrete has probably crashed without a helmet before.

the main rail is (apparently) scaffolding to ladder entry to rail. The rail is a rail that was already in the park (a 15 stair rail...?) If anyone knows what that rail is like mssg me 'cause we don't know if we are going or not...

it was sunny and hot for most of it. started to rain at the end. The mountains bailed out on lending the flatbar/box, so it was urban style with scaffolding drop in's, one going to a downhill ledge and one going to a downhill rail (both with small stairs). lots of bails.

yes i admit it was sketchy....i'll let you guys in on what happened....

friday at 5 seymour called saying that we wouldn't be able to bring in the rail due to insurance, liability, etc. would've been nice to know a little sooner, but hey. we made it work and i think it was still fun.

one at a time the live acts bailed out. First was rosco...he was slated for the week before but was in hawaii this week....then MC morph who is a bartender by trade, one of his coworkers quit and he was forced to work a double that day... and the lead singer of honeybox got into a bad car accident friday night.

so a lot of shit went wrong basically at the 11th hour, but considering how much I was stressing about what might go wrong i think people still had a lot of fun.

plus we learned what to do better and what not to do for next year, plus we'll have more funding so it'll all be a bit better.
