So i had mine on sat.

yup

it was a good time. steak dinner, shitty dance music and a hotel room with my girl. and today i won $120 at the casino. so it was a good weekend.

waste of money mine was wow 3 years ago now and i spent like 1 1/2 hours there and then went to the after party which was sick.

My sister is going to prom and i feel bad for chicks cus there shit is so expensive she spent 325 bucks on some dress that shes going to use once i would rather buy a pair of skis LOL

 
dude, i spent a little less than $70 on my dress. anything over $200 is too expensive.

anyways, after prom a whole big bunch of us are renting a trolley for 3 hrs to go anywhere we want. then we're going to parties. it's gonna be so awesome.

my gf and i go to different schools so i have to go to two. i wasnt gonna go to mine becuase it was too much money, so my parents said they would pay for one, and i would pay for the other.

Im not going to my prom. its the moeny issue for sure.150 bucks for 2 tickets 300 bucks for dress, 100-200 on shoes. 300 for the after for a 2 nights renting the house on the beach, then u add on alcohol and any other little extras like 150 on hair, and 30 on nails... its too much

id rather be saving my money to go to whistler.

My prom was fucking fun, it wasn't that expensive and the after party got fucked up and never happened but it was fun none-the-less.

Mines in 2 weeks but I'm not going to mine cause I'm going to my best friends which is on the same night. But Ive been to the past 2 spring formals (proms) at my school because they are open for people grades 11 and up becuase of the small number of people at my school. I believe that prom is highly over rated... Prom is only what you make of it...and I know people that have done prom minus tickets including after party for $200 /person nad that includes dress/ suit, (4 girls: hair nails shoes) it all depends on where and when you shop... Prom isnt supposed to break the bank...

I went with a girl to a different school prom, but im not a junior and didnt have anyone to go with at my school. We got a stretch navigator limo and stuff it was pretty cool. I had bought my friend a pipe at a concert the night before so he bought me a bottle of jack and a bag for the next night to pay me back. The girl i went with paid for our tickets and hotel casue her parents paid and stuff it was pretty funny. A different friend gave me some mush as we were walking into prom for free so I spent $50 on the limo and like $100 on the tux or something so it wasnt much money. It was quite a bit of fun we had like 12 people and some other people stopped by the hotel it was cool

this kid on my bus..total retard...always stoned and again just retarded...i was litening to him and his friends seriously talking about doing good this year and next..(next year they will be 18 yr old sophmores) and how they are going to drop out of high school and then join the army. their plan is to shoot themselves in the leg as a battle wound and say an enemy hit them and ran away..they think the army is going to pay in full for the rest of their pothetic lives.

mine is on memorial day weekend, in a few.

I just get my mom really excited about it, or make her think I won't go, so she feels badly and pays for stuff. I just hafta buy my ticket which is 20. otherwise I probably would take the money and, yea, exactly--buy new skiis and a cheap dress. or go naked...no.

ya, mine is this saturday. we got a sicky old rolls royce limo goin (at least i assume it's sicky!!!!), got the tux, got a hotel room downtown for the pre-game. then we're going to some nice, fancy italian place, then probably back to the hotel room, then to prom, then to breckenridge at a cabin. im getting a half oz. of bud for the night. and probably get some friends to pitch on a keg. it's gonna be nice.
