Sending Texts to the Wrong Person

This is x10 times worse when it's a group text on an iphone and one of the numbers is wrong.... then everyone chimes in in reply...

In America - when you give up a number (change phones when moving states etc etc), someone else usually get's your old #.

I had a buddy's old number on my phone which, when included in a group text, was sending all sorts of nonesense to some random punter thousands of miles away.

 
A few months back I was kinda flirting with a girl over text, and ended up sending one to my cousin, and he texted me back telling me my game was weak.
 
Literally the same thing happened at my high school like 8 years ago when I was a freshman, the cops went and confiscated the guy's computer and psp, and found a bunch of granny porn on both. Lulz were had.

Worst wrong text thing that happened to me: I was texting my ex before I went to bed to try to convince her I wasn't interested in this other girl emily (don't know why I gave any fucks...), and sent her a text that said "Goodnight, Emily, sweet dreams, can't wait to see you tomorrow!" Psychotic Ex-girlfriend shitstorm ensued.
 
I was texting two of my buddies and i was talking about how i actually did the french homework we had and said something to the affect of "I actually did it for once and used some of the french i learned and she (our french teascher) popped a huge chubby and gave me and 8" (8 out of 8 on the IB rubric) i sent it to the wrong person and it was a bit strange until i explained my self haha
 
ahahhaahahhaha same here last spring i was half-cheated on my girlfriend and she didnt know until after i broke up with her but when she found out (right after we broke up) she was all mad i was trying to convince her that i didnt like the other chick (megan), even though i did. both were in my recent texts and i accidently sent my ex: "Sweet dreams megan can't wait to meet up tomorrow ;)." Psychotic Ex-girlfriend shitstorm ensued.
 
My girlfriend took my friends phone one time, and from the phone asked me what I was getting her for christmas. Not knowing it was her, I replied with "Well, to be honest, I think I'm breaking up with her." She cried the whole night, and at like 12 o'clock, told me it was her on my friends phone. That led to a very awkward first period the next morning. I sat next to her..
 
When i was a junior in highschool something similar happened to my best friend. some creeper was taking videos of girls from our school in a tanning salon. a few weeks go by and like 10 girls from my school were on websites and nude pictures were going around etc. so turns out one of the girls from the tanning salon was my algebra teacher, and someone sent a naked picture of the teacher to my friend. cops came to school the next day, took his phone, all hell broke loose haha
 
my girlfriends brother has the same name as me and one time she texted him something along the lines of "i cant wait to get home and fuck you". luckily him and i pretty chill. she changed my name in her phone after that
 
I was going to ask this girl to prom. I was texting my friend while trying to arrange a plan to see her that night to surprise her and ask her to prom. well I was texting her and suddenly I thought I was texting my friend so I ended up texting her that I was going to ask her to prom. super awkward when I showed up...
 
I was at a hotel with my family, my family had gone up to the lounge area to play cards. I then realized we had forgotten cards. I went back to the room to get the cards when I had an urge to poo. I had saved my moms number as angry bitch, which is at the beginning of the alphabet, right under the send to all contacts button. Anyhow, I ended up sending "I have to take a dump" to alot of people, including my grandparents.
 
my friend was gonna fuck this really hot girl that skisbut he was texting another girl saying how the hot chick was kind of a whore. he sent the hot girl the text calling her a whore
 
I don't know about you guys but I have used the excuse "whoops wrong person" to start texting girls because I'm that sick.
 
I feel really bad that I haven't ever called this lady back, she really seems to need whoever she thinks I am.

Every once in a while I get like a 10 minute voicemail from an older sounding lady that sounds very depressed. It'll be like "Hi, Tom. It was great to finally hear your voice again. Things are really rough around here." and this bitch just goes on and on about shit and it always ends with her talking about how sad she is that he never calls her back.
