Sending more troops to iraq

you ever think the actual targets hide in civilian homes? When there is a squad of army infantry being pinned down from fire from a house because the insurgents are to coward to come out and fight what should you do? put yourself in there shoes bro, either you watch your brothers and eventually you get ripped apart because the enemy has a superior firing position or you call in a fucking airstrike. Yes civilian deaths are terrible, but they are apart of every war. If they didnt hide their weapons or themselves in civilian buildings there would be no problem.

And to all you who say there was no WMD's, have you ever heard of things that are CLASSIFIED. There was a great show on the history channel it was about missions that had recently become declassified. One was about a WMD coming from the middle east on a swedish cargo ship. It was inteded to reach port in NYC where a terrorist sell would detenate the bomb. Well guess what, Seal Team 6 was deployed found the bomb and placed explosives on this ship so when it blew up it would give PLENTY of time for a mayday call and all crew memebers to safely board a lifeboat. Besides that kick ass story if there were WMDs in Iraq, the general population would probably not know about it. There are things going on over there that would blow your mind if the general population could hear it. There is a video somewhere of Obama coming out of his intelligence briefing, the look on his face is priceless, and i think he had a few more grey hairs.
Its way more complicated over there than it seems.

I by no means wanted such an evil man in power and i do agree he was responsible for a lot of deaths,but you have to understand democracy can't thrive in these Islamic countries.The people even given the choice of democracy will vote for the wrong person especially if a person running for power has religious links to their beliefs.Its not ignorance its logical no matter how evil it is.The country was thriving and look at it now.People cant even walk down the streets without fear of kidnapping or death especially if your a Christian Iraqi or are sided with being a Sunni or a Shiite.Put yourself in the worn-out shoes of a every day civillian in Iraq. Would you rather live under Saddam – who was a brutal dictator, but did provide Iraq with one of the foundations of civilization: order – or under a force made up of ideological terrorists, feuding warlords and an "Ali Baba" element, all running rampant because they can, and where not even mosques provide a safe haven from these brutes and their bombs?

WWII- Japanese take the "Death March" survivors and force them to build air raid shelters. They then put the POWs into said shelters and burn them alive.

Vietnam- NVA force American POWs to play Russian Roulette. They also strap them between bamboo and allow the bamboo to grow through said troops bodies.

Vietnam- American forces towards the end losing their cool and burning down villages for no reason at all or dropping bombs on random villages cause they can.

Marines were taught a very hard lesson in Vietnam. Kids, would be running around, acting like they are playing, and then they stop, one bends over and has an AK strapped to their back, and their friend starts pulling the trigger.

Now, fast forward to Iraq. Climate is much different and the US Marines have a definite advantage in terms of firepower. But, at the same time, Muslim Extremists and those they are fighting are not above using civilian vehicles to blow up roadblocks and such. Or take off their uniforms and hide in civilian crowds and then open up on the troops. Read some memoir's from Vietnam or the one or two released since Iraq to get the troops side too dude.

Oh, and stop capitalizing "CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY".... it makes your argument look stupid and childish and immature.

Still highly debatable, but we know that Saddam buried shit in the desert before, and that he has sent stuff to other countries when people came looking, so I feel like that is a very likely what happened. Of course we will never know for sure at this rate.
