Sending Mail to the US

Im sending a cheque to a guy in the US, and Im wondering if I can just attach normal Canadian stamps to it. USually I just get my mom to do it, but I know she wont want me spending this money, so Im doing it myself. I have a bunch of postage stamps, but do I need something special to send it to the US?

first spell checks right. but sorry i cant help you i think you should be able to but ask a post office. you have to buy stamps anyways

and for the original question... just cover the envelope in stamps, it's bound to work

you can use canadian stamps just you have to add more to make it international postage. or you can just buy international postage directly. it's canadian stamps just at the price you'd have to pay. find out at the post office
