Ok! seriously. The police station said the police officer was suspended and they are reviewing the case. its going to take a while for his supiriors to come to a conclusion, and it will most likely be solved in court. i dont think pissing off the police station with 1000's of emails will get you anywhere. by now we have likely made our point.

yes, the guy was a douche and he is being taken care of. its not your job to decide what happens with him. leave it alone.
 
i read a lot of stuff about the incident last night, and ALL the people who witnessed it said that the kid in the picture being chokheld was harassing and threatening the officer who told him to go skate somewhere other than the senior center, and in the picture the officer actually has his hand on the kid's shoulder. They also said that the youtube video's conveniently edited out the parts that show one of the kids pushing the officer against a storefront window.

I dunno what's actually true, but from what I've read, it sounds like the kids may not have been quite as nonviolent as they appeared in the video.
 
well acctually being that we do live in a democracy you would think it is our job to put in our opinion
 
its being taken care of. the police station clearly already knows how the general public feels.
 
im not saying that we should take that attitude in every situation. but this is one that people have done everything they can do, and as of this point we are just pissing off police officers and their time.

in the video they said something along the lines of "right now people are being robbed and we are under arest for skateboarding" well think about it. we are occupying their time with all these calls and emails. time they could be using towards something more productive.
