my roomate leaves this summer for one that goes mostly around Europe, looks like a lot of fun.

I seek the means... to fight injustice. To turn fear... against those who prey on the fearful.

I just sent in my deposit today for Fall 2006, I'm super pumped...I'll be going to these places.

Japan, China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Myanmar, India, Egypt, Turkey, Croatia, and Spain. I've never really traveled anywhere outside of North America so this is pretty huge for me. I'll have tons of stories and pictures to share when I get back for sure.

What's breaker high? Basically this is a program where you sail around the world as you take classes with about 600-700 students from around the U.S., and you get to travel for a few days at each place you stop at.

I would do it. My semester I spent abroad was one of the most fun and interesting times of my life. I lived in South America, but I bet traveling the world would be even better. Do it!

i'm studying in london this summer, it's going to be sick. i like being at college too much to skip a semester. a six week program in the summer sounds pretty good to me.

I am thinking about doing a NOLS (National Outdoor leadership school) program for credit after I garduate from HS. its cool you get credit for doing things like a 15 day ski tour, or 30 days of mntinering in the himalays, or alaska or rock climbing, mountanearing, kayaking, alomost anything. it sounds cool. but a 30 day backpacking trip is intense, I did an 11 day one and that was hard.

I'm very far from having the cash for something like this trust me...I'm gonna be massively in debt for years, but it will be worth it. I just figure I'll skip out on taking out a $20k loan for a new car and spend it on this instead. You only live once right?

i would definetly go on one of those. when you go on these trips to do study gen ed classes or do you stick with your major.

if anyone who has an opportunity to go on one of these epic trips passes it up, i would would like to punch him/her in the mouth.
