Selling used skis

I tried to sell my 4frnt msps with look bindings on ebay and started the bid at $250 and they didn't sell. I bought the skis for $650 last season, i used them for one season and they are in good shape. How much money should i be looking to sell these skis for?

it depends on the quality of the ski if they are chipped up, cosmetic damage, bases scratched up, size more info needed

sometimes you just have to try for a little while, b/c there are times when nobody is looking for skis...try again, and at somepoint you'll have a buyer

starting them at 99cents sounds kinda risky because there 161 - definately not a popular size - if nobody bids, somebody could snag them for basically nothing

you set a reserve price. And if it doesn't get to where you want it then boom, no biggy. But more people will be apt to look at your skis if the price is "99 cents" vs. if it's 250.

unless you are wanting to spend $$ on listing fees for constantly trying to relist, don't use reserves, buy it nows, or any of that shit. Its just a way for them to make money.

Just use as many descriptive words in your title, like

"4frnt MSP Twin Tip Freestyle Park Skis 161" or similar to retain as many hits as possible

just set the price around what you are willing to accept, use a gallery image, and maybe a 10 cent designer layout.

this you shouldn't do though, unless you really have a legit reason. don't just end the auction just because you are not happy with the ending price.
