Selling my computer

Looking for a new computer for pretty cheap? I'm thinking about selling my Dell that I bought a couple years ago. It still works very well and I recently doubt a DVD drive and a new video card for it. I have spent over a hundred dollars in upgrades and there is over $250 dollars worth of games installed on it right now that you would get with it (cd's aren't included but they still work)

Ideally I would like around $500 for the computer. Considering how much I paid for it and the upgrades and games on it, this is a pretty good deal.

If i were you, to get even people even more interested i would post:

Processor brand model and specs

Hard disk space

amount of RAM

video card model and specs

-Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz with 533 Mhz front side bus

-Chaintech 256MB Geforce Fx5500

-It has a 40GB hard drive that came with it, and I added a 30GB one for some extra room

-Came with 512 MB ram which is enough for almost any program, but I bought another stick of 512mb. I am planning on keeping the one I put in, but one could buy it.

it's like 2 and a half years old...and despite what that kid said, Dell's are perfectly good computers. my older brother bought his dell like 7 years ago and it works fine still without upgrading anything.

and if you went out and bought a new dell for $500 it would not be faster than this one...the processor would probly be a celeron instead of a pentium and the memory would be really slow, and there might be integrated video instead of a separate card...aka slow.

yeah you are right, but a lot of people who buy the really cheap computers (families), don't use them for games or video editting and stuff and they don't need to know much about them to use it. but if you just customize what setup you want then they run as well as any other computer.

the games that come with it are Jibberish, GTA San Andreas, GTA Vice City, Far Cry, Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2, Need for Speed Underground 2, Splinter Cell Pandorra Tomorrow, Doom 3, and Worms 3D...I could install many many more though
