Self filming

I need tips on self filming in the street. I've been playing around with angles a bit and I cant really tell whats good. Anyone know of any good self filmed street edits I could look at?

the napoleon dynamite shot, is an art in itself.

go pros nowadays are affordable, and i would recommend a long angle shot. i legit, pieced alot of my napoleons together in a way that it puts level 1 to shame for the production costs wasted... i did have to do tricks multiple times to get my shots, and usually would focus on lead up shots, until i was ready to film a stomp.

once you get your shots together, you can use digital zoom in the editing software, and make the shot look like a professional filmer was involved, hollywood magic!

feel free to message me for more info, would love to see your shots when you get them.

GoPro with the weird remote thingy.

The remote thing would be fire to like self film a lil spot or a solo hike sesh but then your clips are on a go pro lol

Honestly it wouldn't look that bad as long as the fov isn't set super wide

Linear or wide angle are the best depending on what you want. I use linear for follow cams and self shot stuff. Only use the super wide angle stuff for pov.

I live in West Virginia and only hit rails I’ve never used then for skiing but I used to Race downhill and they are so hard to get perfect for pov angles but once u get the angles right and the settings right it looks really good

I used to have one of those but it stopped working after like a month. Wouldn't pair with the camera or something... idk if theres newer ones that work better tho

Most of my edits are self shot and self edited. Its a lot of fucking work for something that will never be seen by anybody except friends.

respect for people who try self shooting
