Seeking Place to live Jan 2008

Anyone have any ideas on a place to work and/or place to live in Summit county this upcoming Jan 2008? Any info or insight would help!
 
hey i go to school in CO (leadville) and i'm getting an apartment in August in Frisco or silverthorne. Rent is probably going to be between $300-400. but its really cheap compared to most of the rest of CO, plus sliverthorne and frisco are smack in the middle of every resort. about 15min from keystone and a basin, 20 to breck, 25 to vail...

anywho the place im renting out is 2-3 bedroom apartments and right now i have onlt found one other roomate, we're looking for another if you wanted in.
 
wow, that's pretty cheap. but august? whats the job situation like pre-season? too bad it's not starting in octo(grab)ber.
 
well most summer jobs end around september/october, then the mtns start hiring around october/november. ill be in school from august to november though, then i start working for the mtns.
 
hmmm, this is intriging. i'll see what my plans are, i might do this depending on what i do with school. i'll get back to you in a couple weeks.
 
go to CMC in leadville. theres also one in dillion and breck too. CMc at leadville had a ski area operations degree. im in it right now, check it:

i got 124 days of skiing this year while going to CMC full time, and working full time.
 
yeah i know that's an option, i go to CSU currently and am debating whether to take one or both semesters off next year, though i could do part time at CMC and get some more credits out of the way, i don't have most of my basics.
 
Getting a job is easy. I have moved out to Breck at the end of Jan the last two years, finding housing at that time is tough. Plan on crashing somewhere for awhile while you look. I slept on the floor of a trailor for a month a year ago and slept in a recliner for a month this year. So if you find a place fast, props to you. Also don't look for a place with British people, they suck. Ask for G-man, I am sure he needs some one to live with.
 
I would only be looking for a place just in Jan and the first week of Feb. Would this be a problem or would it be cool to just pay for those weeks?
 
hey im looking for roomates also in frisco silverthonre starting around late october early november. anyone else need a roomate? im a chick so id prefer to live with chicks though i could handle guy roomates as long as they're nice and not snowboarders.
 
i'll be moving down to frisco/silverthorne prolly in august or so...right now its just me and one other guy, so we might need one other person if we get a 2 or 3 bedroom. we are also looknig for places in keystone...
