Seeing Nick Geopper just have fun skiing returned my stoke

I may be showing my age, but Nick use to be an intense competitor, with robot steeze, the definition of a comp jock, he’d even scream and freak out, breaking his poles at one X games. He’s now switched into pipe , still competes but if you watch his social media , the dudes having a blast. Just reminds me skiing is FUN. And it will be back shortly :)

OP i saw a couple pics of goepper building some big ramp thing on social media but didn't follow up to see what it was. do you know?

Lol idk. He was banned again yesterday. But nice Jems was an account made in July. So maybe not. And now he’s banned too. So maybe.

Half pipe training. He's rollerblading up a QP and onto an airbag. Looks both dangerous and fun as hell. Sadly, he will not drop the addy.

yeah shit looks wicked but also wicked dangerous lol. also seeing henrik still so stoked out on skiing to the point of training all summer and setting up his adult life around it is so cool to me

Dude straight up , Nick Goepper is unironically such a based skier these days.

Used to be kinda whacky (pretty whacky ngl) but he kinda owned it and I respect that.

Like skiing halfpipe in jeans at a competitive level is sick. His new kinda goofy but super tech skiing is fun, can’t hate.
 
You nailed it on showing your age lol Goepper and Bobby Brown were killing the scene when I moved to Colorado and was skiing Breck all the time starting in 2011 and I sure have aged a lot since then, crashes a lot more serious now so I’m stoked and feel nostalgic to still see them doing anything these days. Also I would knock him for competing with no poles but it’s hard to call the only one doing screamin seaman’s “robot steeze”, I always liked his runs. And I don’t mind his freak outs haha he’s a few years younger than me so I always sympathized with his hitting rock bottom only because I felt the same when I was 5 years younger

I'm a more intense competitor than ever before.

The thing is, when I was younger I had just as much fun but didn't know how to show it, or cared to. These days I have found the confidence being myself and showing people that I have fun. Thats what its all about.

I grew up on a 350ft hill in Indiana riding one of the sickest parks in the country in the rain. I love this shit.

Be prepared for another decade of Goepper unhinged like you have never seen before.

Oh sorry skierman, I must have missed the part where I said he wasn't having fun with the intense competition that he obviously enjoys seeing as he's been a top dog for over a decade
