my friends are trying to get some free pizza before they throw it out. they ask the lady

"Can we get some free pizza?"

lady says " no you can we are throwing it away and i can lose my job."

my friend asks " can i just like grab one then? "

responds " no then i would have to call security..."

so my friends walk away. we go to the car and start packing up our stuff to go home. and here comes the bad ass security guards who think they are HOT SHIT. goes to my dad and says.

"are u the parent of this kid."

"no, im the ride back.."

"well a cashier said he was gonna jump the counter and take pizza."

when we hear that we all go " no thats not what happend at all."

the guy then raises his voice and starts yelling at us.

long story short he tried to hold us there and tried taking us to his office for no reason when nothing happened.

and i know theres something saying even cops cant hold u , on something u didnt do. we were late for something and they insisted on trying to take us to his office for something that never happend. even when it was clear to them and us nothing did happen!

learn your rights, take some classes about law (i am in high school) and know your basic rights. Security guards have no more power than normal people, you can spit on them if you like and they cant do shit.

It really helps in those situations to be able to say Fuck off i know you cant do that. I was able to do that to cops, and it was a awsome feeling.

yea see i know they cant do that legally cause cops cant even do that. and i was yelling at them laughing u guys dont have any right to hold us here. and i know my rights.

thats when i saw a little worry in one of there faces.

aww man we dont have anyone to yell at now to make us feel big.

i took every thing ppl said on ns about the latest " power trip" thread and they were like uhhh

im sending them an email.

does this sound right? or if theres anything else i can put in it please add cause i hate these guys so much.

I think you guys should sit down the so called

"security guards" and give them a talk on what they can and cant do.

I learn a lot about my rights in school and love to

know what I can and cant do by living in this great country. I would just like

to say your security guards think they are Rambo and do stuff they arent allowed

to do legally.

yea, security guards suck. Not quite cops, and not quite civilians.

And with cops you have to be careful with shit like that about being taken in, because in a lot of cases there is always some minor part in the law that will give them the right to do something under certain circumstances. My dad's a cop and has told me stories of when people think they are being smart shit, telling him he can't do something, so he just breaks out some random ruling that applies to the situation, and allows him to take them in. There are ways past it, you just have to watch out, and not be a douche, because odds are the cop will know the law a lot better than you do and he'll know other laws he can get you with

wrong.

security guards have the power to place you under citizen's arrest. but in reality they are allowed to carry out what they believe is necessary in the course of their jobs. ask a cop about it, I did. they can hold you until the police arrive.

I had something a lot worse than your situation happen to me and to of my friends in 8th grade. we were jogging through the mall cause we were late to meet my friends dad. this insane mall cop stopped us and started screaming at us, threatening to take us down unless we came with him. he grilled us for 2 hours before letting us go.

its a long story but I have never seen someone on more of a power trip. basically he insisted that because we were running we must have stolen something. logical fallacy right there.

Spitting is considered assualt, if you spit on me i WILL drop you and be covered legally, provided i dont beat the shit out of you after I arrest you etc. Oh and those rent a cops suck, why would any normal person want to create drama like that?

my friends mom is a cop and he know like everythin about the law and peoples rights so well.  its pretty awesome to see him bitch cops out like crazy cause he knows exactly what he can do and what the cops can do.  like he will be yelling at them and the cops will just stand there taking it and have nothing to say back.

like one time my friend got handcuffed cause some lady thought he stole something, though she didnt have any proof, she just said it looked like he did. and he let the cop search him and everything and the cop still didnt let him go so my other friend started bitching out the cop and listing ways that he was breaking the law, he told the cop to take the handcuffs off right now, and the cop was totally embarassed like looking down and not saying anything, and he took the cuffs off looking like a little bitch, and we all walked away.

its an awesome feeling when a cop comes up to you with all that power and you just totally take it all away.

I really, honestly hate it when all people have to say about cops and security is how stupid they are, how they're only looking for a power trip and essentially how they're useless. Goddamn maybe a little appreciation? They're hard asses because they need to be. Though you may share the same sidewalk as them its a much diferent life behind a uniform where in many cities, much less than being a keeper of peace you're also a target. Maybe if you dumb shits stop giving them a reason to be hard and excercise some common sense in your actions you'll get to avoid them in the first place.

I understand your little pizza example may be unfair, but the fault lies with the bitch at the cash who told security she was going to get jumped. It doesn't lie with the guard himself who was only told what he knows, and given what he 'knew' I think he excercized approproate action. Stop giving them such a hard time and immediately assuming their out to be assholes. Their idea of discipline may not be as tender as your parents' but take a bit of time and reflect on how lucky you are living in a country that at least OFFERS you some rights to protect you from abuse of the law. Show some respect.
