Secret societies make the world go round. Just a general comment, but you need to see the statistics for the percentage of men in high ranking corporate and government positions, that are members of a fraternity.

So... I got 18 minutes into this movie, and I gotta tell you guys. They are getting alot of shit mixed up. Horis is always presented in egyptian art as a hawk. Re was the sun. The low relife sculptures they were showing were from an amarna period, which was when Akhnaten was ruling. They had nothing to do with horis, or Re or any other egyptian gods cause King Akhnaten had changed the egyptian religion into a monothesitc religion which worshiped aten. Aten was the sun.

So, that being said, I wouldnt be supprised if they make other false statments, cause they seem to have done a pretty shoddy job at research.

They do it again about 40 mintus in when they are talking about the combination of Johova, baal and Osiris... Baal was not a demon god. He was a storm god. He was the main diety for thousands of people. Osiris was the god of the egyptian underworld and of rebirth... Neither of which are very demony since the Egyptian underworld was kinda like a paridise for eternity.

All these pictures of christain demons when talking about Baal is very misleading. first of all because when Baal was still ebing worshiped, there were no Christians. Christianity woudnt come for another 1000 years. and second of all, Baal was not a demon god to the people who worshiped him.

Its alot like Christians not recognizing Budha... but that doesnt make Budha a devil.

I'm going to slightly disagree with you on that one. Baal is actually a Semitic word, and was used to represent a variey of things. You're referring to the title Baal as being used interchangably with the god Hadad, which at one time it was. But later on Baal became used differently by different people.

In early Christianity, Baal was said to be a high ranking demon. And may have been used interchangably with satan.

I've only had a chance to watch the first part so far, and I'll agree that those references to ancient egyptian religion are contorted. But I'm going to watch the second part now. And maybe go back and brush up on some history. This has sparked my interest.

I thought Baal was the supreme god of the Phoenicians (men who lived along to coast line of present day Syria and Lebanon) and later the Phoenician descended Carthaginians. Since the Phoenician people lived just above the people of Judaea I can see how early christians spreading the religion into the area came into conflict with the old worshipers of Baal, the supreme god of the Phoenicians. Sacrifices to Baal in the form of Bulls and even people were common practice among his followers. Perhaps the early Christians chose to demonize Baal in order to draw people away from the old religion and bring more towards the Christian faith?

and the Carthaginians themselves lasted until 168 B.C. so the religion still probably survived where it began in Phoenicia until the times of the Christians.

You got it.

But apple is right about a lot of the other stuff. There are some misconceptions floating around in there. But aside from that, I do believe there is relevant info in the film.

this thread makes me wish my memory retention were good enoguh to remember all the things i learned this year... but sadly its all gone.

well....after watching it and coming to a well though out response...id have to say that that is .........GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY GAY...AND GAY

you would be really surprised how much influence certain secret societies have on our country, it's surprising the information that is publically available... what will really knock you is the stuff that no one knows.

what really gets me is that i can present people with solid arguments about government lies and attempts at controling populations, and people just look at you like your crazy and laugh at what your saying.

People still dont belive me, or understand the implications of things like things like the northwoods document.
