If you can afford to make some kid's face light up when he goes to his mailbox, isn't that reason enough? If you are piss poor, well, you shouldn't have participated but at the least you should put some effort into getting someone something they will actually like. Now, stop treating this like a visit to that aunt who always gives you a kiss on the mouth, and start treating it with as much attention and care as you give to containing your outbreaks, with the help of Monistat.

Two years ago: Sent out Dakine Park/pipe gloves, got a bunch of cool shit including a DJ scratch post for my cat, custom die-cut stickers, and a Rubik's cube type thing.
Last year: I sent out a Level 1 bucket hat. received used ski socks/used t-shirt.
This year I'll probably send out some of those Saga 3/4 base layer pants because I think they're cool and I'd like them for myself. I wish people wouldn't send used shit, make it feel like some weird garage sale type thing but whatever. I send out things that any skier would like/use unless their profile is specific.
