Second set of skis?

ive got some pocket rockets at the moment, which i really like for the type of skiing i do, but over xmas i spent a lot more time in the park, which i havent done before. would it be worth getting a second cheap set that are centre mounted, like some fujatives or something? xxxx i havent got any experience with park-specific skis

Hey

A lot of people have two sets of skis, some have more, some have less. If your mountain gets a bit of pow and also has some park features and it's not going to kill you finanically then it's good to get a pair of park skis.

Cheers,

-aaron

Sure. I have a pair of park skis and a pair for all moutain/pow. I'd be crazy to use my park skis for all mountain since the edges suck.

yea def. park skis are fun to have, much easier to ski on than pow skis in the park (duh).

good suggestions

fujative

silencer -i have a pair right now ill be selling in a week, but im very impressed with them. great lil ski

line chronic

rossi sprayer

dynastar NBTs

last years stuff.

Haha, I'm looking at getting a sixth pair of skis right now. Anyways, I don't see any reason why not to. If you want something for park you can just buy a cheap pair of last year's skis, mount them up with some used bindings and have an ok setup without spending too much money. I don't see any point in spending a lot of money on a pair of skis you're going to purposely trash, but if you want something expensive you could always go that route too.

yeah i have four pairs of skiis, one for groomers, crud, one for park, one for urban and yah just another shitty pair hajha

yea man do it its always good to have both so u can switch it up and have more controll in park with center mounted!!

cant really say i have a park and "pow" ski cause you dont get much pow in indiana. but i do have some fujatives for the park and a pair of omnis for like downhill and ice cause the edges on the fujis suck from doin rails. really nice to have both

I have a groomer ski (non twin but fun to use just to go as fast as possible and carve some deep turns)

and my park ski is a core center fujative which I ski most of the time, in and out of park and in pow (when I get it.

Next year I'm gonna get a pow/glades ski that is also decent on groomers, twin of course, now I won't ski anything that isn't twin unless I need to go really fast on icy hardpack and get a good grip.

i got 2 pairs...one for urban jibbing...and one pair for park and pipe..i dont reide alot of pow becuase of where i live

Fuck it, use the Pocket Rockets for park and get yourself a huge ass pow ski. I use my Madens in the park all the time, they make you go slow and steezy.

yea agreed. i started skiing 2 pair 2 years ago and i would never stop. its toally worth it and you can actually hold an edge freeskiing!
