Seattle baseball fans... It's Over!

More surprising, they didnt get destroyed in the wild card series...

...Please beat the Astros, we all hate them.

I think they have a real shot. Mariners won a series in Houston earlier this season, and you know the games at home are gonna be absolutely electric

It's baseball. It's generally a crapshoot.

That said, if Verlander is pitching, expect the strike zone to be Wide Putin...

I think what all the WC series showed us this past weekend is the old adage ringing true - in the playoffs, it doesn’t matter what happened in the regular season. Anything that can happen, probably will happen

If Verlander is pitching, Ms HAVE TO jump on first pitch strikes right from the get go. Only way to ever beat him is to chase him. Once he’s in a groove it’s nearly impossible to win

Yeah, against Verlander in the postseason, you gotta be looking at those first pitch fastballs and start hitting dingers. I saw the A's take so many first pitch crushable baseballs against that guy in the postseason and in big games over the last decade plus, and drop behind in the count constantly... The teams that smash him are those who actually swing at his stuff.

Looks over after blowing that lead yesterday.... Wheewwww

Yeah. Rough. Absolute terrible call by Servais. Trying to take comfort in the fact that the bats were that alive against Verlander. We shall see if they can get off the mat on Thursday.

Fucking astro's are monsters.

Yup. They're the AL bullies right now, have been for awhile... Every bully falls though, just a matter of when. I'm confident this is going to be a huge learning moment for the whole team for next season. And Robbie Ray is going to need to put the work in this off-season, he needs to stop getting manhandled by the Astros. It's happened all season.
