Seattle ......................Awsomeness

Does anybody else think that Seattle is totally awsome .

What do you guys think is the best about Seattle? ,
For me it would be the space needle and the mountains around it.

i love seattle...i lived ther for a year last year..... and it was a blasty blast...i kinda wish i would have lived out of town a little more...but yes agreed loves it

stevens is amazing....baker is sickkkkk

It's awesome there. I hardly ever go up though because the only reason I ever go there is to see family. I hope I'll go again during winter break like I did two years ago.

too big. too much traffic. too hectic. too far from mountains. I go there for sun.

sorry I'm just not a fan. I like the Bellingham area and also Hood Canal. but the city is just too much.

seattle is the shit. 40 minutes from mountains, right up on that water. so easy to escape. clean air for a city. and come on, its fucking beautiful. but i do plan on moving to a small town later in life

i live in a little town outside of seattle and i go there all the time... its a fun place to go. i dont think i could stand living there but i love thats its close by so i can go there whenever. theres some tight ski shops in the city too.

so many good things about seattle. whoever is complaining about rain is a tool, as that's the reason everywhere in the area averages over 450 inches a year. and it's Pike Place, sorry for being the spelling police. seahawks are pretty cool too.

love seattle but if i lived there i would prob. kill myself. i can't live without sunlight i get mad depressed.

i probably wouldn't want to live in washington, but i can give a couple reasons why seatle kicks ass.

1. pearl jam

2. soundgarden

3. alice in chains

4. nirvana

5. temple of the dog

in the summer it is delightfully sunny and usually very very dry. strangely enough it is raining now, and will for a couple of days.

and while it is gray and rainy in the winter... well... cool. lots of snow. In general though, western washington has got it all

dude you must not be from seattle. Everybody around here knows that starbucks sucks ass. Tullys is the way to go.

lived in seattle for a few months this year and every morning was cloudy. your summers dont last long either. sorry to be a negative nancy i'm just used to Hawaii.

my stepdad gos out to seattle all the time for work and he gets so pissed of in starbucks. He ordered a medium hazelnut coffe with milk and they looked at him like huh, so we yelled FUCK STARBUCKS! and walked out

Seattle is honestly the shit

We have the best summers ever, and the pnw has the best winters for sure

We're so close to Summit, Stevens, Crystal, Baker, White Pass, Whistler, Hood...

and bumbershoot... i heard that the wutang concert was illin'

personally i'm pumped on the rain today, it's been like 100 for the past few days and it was supppper gay....

i can't wait for winter. fuck!!!!

i really don't like seattle that much though, too many people, too much money, shitttttttyyyyyy traffic!!!

The best thing in Pike Place-Crepes de France. number 15, nutella and strawberries.

and while seattle is awesome, I'd have to say that Bellingham wins, skiing wise. I mean, Baker. However, I think Bellingham's best for college kids, and i can't go to Western. It's just too close to my parents.

uh yeah. duh. We all have our favorites (I like cafe ladro in kirkland but I almost never make the trek) when it comes to individual coffee shops but as far as chains go. Tully>Overroasted shit known as starbucks

no actually. he has this thing were he wants to try and order everthing on the menu once. that just so happen to be the next thing

Well guys to be honest i only lived in seattle till i was three, and starbucks always feels so much like seattle when i go in , and i like that ,also i dont buy anything from there apart from the occasional frappuccino, which are kinda pricey in Scotland , so they do kinda suck i guess, also there are some other coffe shops here but , i cant be arsed chekin them ,cos coffe aint ma thang

seattle public library hands down

rem koolhaas awesomeness:

i thought you were talking about atlanta, ga. seattle is pretty much the complete opposite of all those compared to this shit hole.

sorry to post 3 times. i just keep remembering things.

does anybody remember the days of the sonics when they played the bulls in the nba championship with gary peyton and all them.

and when the mariners were the shit with jay burner, edgar martinez, randy johnson, griffey, a rod(before he was a douche yankee), some other people i shouldnt be forgetting.

the library is awesome. its so... ostentatious. probably the coolest in seattle, especially since it just pops up on ya in downtown.

and the mariners were best without all the players that the mariners are really known for (save Ichiro). 2001 was like... the year, except for '95, which was THE year.

seattle is one of my all time favorite cities. i love the skyline, i love pikes place, i love the green tortoise hostel, i love how close it is to 2 killer national parks, love boating on the sound, love the record stores and coffee shops, love the mariners. the list goes on and on. if i had to live in a large-ish city, it would be seattle for sure. great city.

Gotta love Seattle... Sea Fair anybody!? And EVO for sure. Kerry park, gas works park crazy art everywhere. I got a great set up now, spend the summers in seattle, then the rest of the year in Ellensburg on the otherside of the mountains going to school where its either snowing or sunny everyday! the emerald city!

it's super easy. there's tons of well known hitchhiking spots where you can just drop off your car. and instructors are really good about picking up people, as well as locals here in general.

i love it here summer days in the city nothing better. The mountains are awsome love it here. The rain doesnt bother me too much.

haha, the small baristas with the half nude girls are where it's at! i don't drink coffee, but it sure is fun as fuck to drive by and bang on the side of your car and yell hot tits at the top of yer lungs..... haha

meh i've lived here all my life (17yrs) and frankly im sick of it. there's like nothing to do. the traffic sucks, the weather sucks (except summer is nice), the people drive slow, and im just so sick of it. sure its a beautiful place but really i cant wait to leave

i guess you dont know how good something is until you don't have it anymore.

weather is probably some of the best (a bit gray in the winter, but otherwise its super neutral), traffic sucks anywhere, there is SO much to do (not even funny), and yea.

Evo.

the traffic's not horrid...it's easy to get everywhere. too bad the skiing's bad. nobody come here.

Where I live sucks, same with thepriceisWRONG but the actual city of Seattle is the shit for the reasons peeps listed above and for just the overall vibe. If you want to be fit, have a super laid back city, and have plenty to do, then hit up seattle. if not...well you're missing out.

seattle is a legit city as long as you're not in a car. but once you're on the outer suburbs it sucks finding things to do. you kind of need a lot of money or a real good job so you have time to get out to the mountains or ocean and explore. winter is good tho.
