Seasonal Accomodation for Mayrhofen 13/14

Does anybody have any information about getting an apartment or room in Mayrhofen for the season?

I've put in for one at the Gasthof Zillertal but with it being the known place I'm expecting not to get it.

I've got one or two job options for the winter but they don't come with accomodation and I'm not looking to work as a chalet bitch for a ski tour company so any help with places that have somewhere they let out to winter workers would be appreciated.

The hotels, gasthofs and apartments will jump at getting you there for a week or so but aren't so keen on telling you about any place to stay long term.

Any help, info or leads are appreciated.

So I've heard back from the Gasthof Zillertal and they have got 2 rooms for four people so if anybody is looking for somewhere drop me a pm and we can try sort something.

Myrhofen seems notoriously difficult to get seasonal accom - gasthof is only place on net that advertises really. I have been looking at mayrhofen too for the season and considered the gasthof. But cant shell out €3k+ before sorted my income for the season

I know I'm reviving an old thread here… where can you recommend to look for accommodation for next season? i know it's still pretty early to be looking into it but I'm keen to get an idea of possibilities. At the moment Gasthof is the only place I've seen.

Hey Fraser, I messaged u, hit me up!

why do you wanna go to mayrhofen anyways? Do you guys have a car you can use? Then I would definetly look for a place close to Innsbruck (in one of the surrounding villages like patsch, igls, and so on). Its fairly cheap there (Innsbruck itself is kinda expensive) and you still get the benefits from a bigger city (easier jobs, nightlife and so on). Also, there are buses from Innsbruck to the major ski resorts (like stubai, mayrhofen etc.)
