Season Passes Suck

Ok this is the first year that I had to buy a season pass myself...my mountain www.skiroundtop.com isnt that big but for the price of the pass it may sound like it...i just dropped 455 on a pass and i definately took for granted the past years my parents have bought one for me...i sent in an application to my mountain so hopefully i will get a job there and they will just reimburse the amount of my pass becuase then i will ride for free...but im just seeing if other people think their pass prices suck compared to the skiing they get in return...

an advantage to it thought..it gives me free trips to stratton when my mountain is closed and 4 free trips to stratton when my mountain is open

i cannot agree with you man, i spent like $450ish for an all east pass and i will ski mt. snow, killington, pico, attitash, sunday river, and sugar loaf with only 10 blackout days, but they are stuff like christmas when it is packed and i wouldnt wanna be skiing with those lines anyway!

yeah i know what your talking about because i got a wachusett pass because its basically in my backyard and that seemed pretty steep. Plus it seems to always be packed except in the middle of the week. but i dont really care that much since its skiing anyways and its close so its convenient

all for one pass is mad good price. please dont complain bout that. i'd rather have 6 mtns i love than a Jiminy peak one thats 600 and isn't that great

yeah season passes are so expensive.

i did this thing this year, where if i sold 15 all east passes i got mine for free. so i got mine for free this year

i got a 5x7 for blue mountain for like $160. you get to ski weekdays and every night of the week but the week days dont count during christmas. pretty dope idea tho and not that expensive

College all east -- $375 for killy, mt snow, attitash, sugarloaf, pico, maybe some others, i dont really remember. no blackout dates.

i think i got one of the best deals.. 415 for whitewater. Best powder in the world and i get a discount at the other local hill. Doesnt get much better then that

im dropping 285 at my local mtn with night skiing and 420 on a sugarloaf/sundayriver combo with no blackout dates

snowbird pass for 99 motha fuka. plus same with park city, if you buy one early enough, brighton, canyons, and many others in the utah area, they have great deals for students... but then im still in high school so thats probably another factor...

I get my week day pass for 299 in the summer, stevens pass,

And we got an OK park with quite a big booter. Pipe sucks most of the year though. My family owns a pass in tamarack idaho too... sick park. Pipe is gona be 22ft this year too, I was up there this summer while they were doing the dirt work for it.

yea i ordered my all east a few days after it was available so i only ended up paying about 500 for it no blackout dates = killy, mt snow, sunday river, etc

they can do that because their arent that many places to ski around you, unlike in CO or UT where their are allot of places wanting you to ski their. Also the big resorts make their money off of tourists.

I get paid $14.30/hr that I ski at my mountain. try to beat that deal. free pass to and 35% off anything in the shops and off food.

I got a Bridger Bowl pass for $360 and a sky card at Big Sky for $69 ($28 a day all season with 14 free days). I also might be getting a free pass at Moonlight Basin if I get a job up there.

you spent 450? you must not be in college

that sucks

its only 375 for no blackout dates if you are in college

my pass price is worse than your grandmas soiled underwear...859 for me(14) for 1000 acres when absolutley EVERYTHING that they can possibly open is open

I held a gun to my parents heads and told them if they don't give me the 500 for my pass the lead would fly. Haha I wish, I had to work 50 hours for my old man for free.

what i hate is how they have different passes with different blackout dates,

what would be best is one, flat rate sale with no blackout dates,

fuck blackout dates, that is the biggest scam ever created to fuck consumers

I know matt. Last year i set up the night club card group so i didnt have to pay for a season pass. But this year I had to dish it out myself. I'm sorry but 455 for a season at ROUNDTOP. that's lame. im pissed now.

390 canadian to ski whistler blackcomb with 3 blackout days, but that's a college deal. Still, youth passes for whistler are 500-ish, that's the same price as a lot of crappy ice coast mountains (surprising really), and even the local vancouver mountains are more expensive. Goddam corporate resorts.

oh yeah, if you ski even a decent amount, you will make your money back, no matter what you pay. altas pass is over $1000? whats a day pass, $60? $70? you pay it off in about 16 times. if you have a season pass and go less than that there is something wrong with you.

ha at my mountain if you get it like right at the end of the season before its 289 which still is a dec amount but its not 455

for my 300 feet of rise i have to pay 400$ "thats if you buy it at this time of year when ther most exspensive" thats a dollor and 33 cents a foot

I'm paying $370 for my whistler pass, $260 for my grouse pass, and $210 for my seymour pass.

$940 total. For like 65 days of riding.

But I can't just ski one mountain all the time. I get tired of riding the same lifts, and knowing that another park has a new feature that I can't hit because I don't have a pass.

Season passes are the greatest ever I went back to grad school full time just to get one (kiddin) but I'm gonna be pissed when I have to pay 700 for an All East pass.

where you getting that deal I think it cost me something like 380 this year and the wp 2 4 1 was like 170 plus my girlfriends pass 170 so fuck man thats like almost 700 bucks in ski passes not to mention gas and equipment. Skiing is expensive.

wow, 455 seems pretty steep for roundtop, i haven't been there, but i now go to school a hour away so il have to make a trip. a adult pass at windham is 1110. thats right 1000 dollars, its redic, they do hook college kids up with a 250 dollar deal. no black outs, but i mean, i guess they can get away with it because there only competition is hunter and belleayre.
