took a spill on sunday pretty sure my knee is fucked

1089369.jpegthis is 2 days after the crash, Yes I already have doctors appointment scheduled just wanna see if anyone has had the same issue as me. idk if this helps but it feels like their is a rubber band in my knee.

Did you just whack it really hard or did it like twist or sum shit? might just be a bone bruise tho which makes everything feel super tight and stiff

I might have whacked it against my binding when I fell its just that whole area that is bruised feels like a rubber band. I hope its a bone bruise imma take a few weeks off tho

sounds like a bone bruise you prolly chillin, needs a lil time off tho. I've had worse coloring on bone bruises but i usually end up with them on my hips/arms

How did you crash? Is your range of motion limited? Does the knee still feel stable? If you're still able to use that leg for most things it's quite likely you just strained or sprained something in there and you might be able to keep skiing. Really the only way to know for sure is to go to a doctor and get it checked out. If you tore something they most likely won't be able to find out without getting an MRI.

I didnt see a windlip due to bad lighting and very windy was like 4-5 feet drop and I landed to flat going like 20-30 mph, Bloody face the whole nine yards, my range of motion isnt limited its just painful to bend my knee at 90 degrees and walking up stairs. My knee feels stable I can walk and go upstairs with minor discomfort.

As long as you didn't feel a pop or lose a significant amount of your range of motion within 24 hours of the crash you most likely didn't tear anything. I'd go to the doc just to make sure, but you'll probably be fine in a few weeks
