Season ending injuries....

and this is after three weeks of healing (three weeks ago), was my entire hand and arm. that section on my wrist is still healing, but I skiied 5 runs last weekend only used one pole.
 
My friend crashed skiing and tore his PCL and maniscus

another friend got sluffed in a chute and broke 10 ribs and punctured a lung

 
cut my pinky finger on my right hand 4 weeks ago and it took off all the fat/muscle on the top joint and was hanging by like 2 cm of skin. i got stictches and there was a good chance they were gonna have to graft skin from my hip. then it got infected and my whole hand swelled up and it hurt terrible. then when i got the stitches out last wednesday, the doctor sucked, snipped a peice of fat off on one side, popped the cut open on the other, and then fished around in an open wound for the last stitch. my hand was as bad as when it first happened. they couldnt stitch it again so they glued and taped it and if it doesnt heal in the next couple of days i have to have surgery. it hurts and now there is a huge piece of dead skin hanging and its all yellow and shitty.

and the right picture is actually day 8. i edit-undoed the second half of it by accident and didnt care enough to fix it
 
my friend and I were making a smoke bomb (it just smokes, no explosion) i was stirring it and it got too hot and flashed up and burned me. My friend has made these before but this was the first time it got fucked-up. but such is life I am healing hopefully two more weeks before I get the bandage off.
 
Some guy on a chairlift said he saw someone hit a deer skiing. I dunno why im posting this here.
 
Two of my friends just got paralyzed, one in a car wreck (parapalegic), one fell off a bunk bed and broke his neck (quadrapalegic). Life is so fucking shitty right now...
