so i was at breck today having an awesome time, everybody was going off and it was just such a sick time. threw a corked five and came up a little short on the rotation...landed on my knee...tore my ACL, tore my MCL, chipped a piece of my knee bone....therefore ending my season on the 2nd day of riding.

sucks so bad. had new skis, new outfit...such a bummer. so basically i wanted to wish everybody a safe and healthy season since i couldn't have one myself.

that sucks balls man. it hasnt even snowed yet where i ski and you already fucked yourself for the season. hope you get better

join the clud dude. i did the same thing minus the mcl and bone chip at a basin in october after 5 days of skiing. just got surgery and its my second acl tear.

fuck, that, shit.

i'd just like to point out that the conditions are what determine how hard you should push yourself, because it isn't a forgiving envornment, injury is more likely to happen. and big ups to the rest of your recovery

thanks guys. the thing is, the conditions were great, absolutley beautiful day, well manicured jumps, nice landings....

it's the nature of the game ya know, we push ourselves so hard and try to progress and sometimes it just doesn't work out so well. it could have been worse tho, if i landed on my neck for example. just gotta look for the positive.

good man, at least you got the right mindset, itll help you get back on snow ASAP. im so sorry to hear bout your knee, thats such a bummer when that happens. if you can, save this winter and spend the summer in NZ if youll be 100% then, then you wont loose a whole year of skiing

a girl I know messed up her acl, mcl, pcl, and meniscus last march. She had surgery and was at summer training in late July. If you get on the right program you could probably be 80-90% by spring. Get better soon everybody!!!

me to....... me to. like i wouldent even no what i would feel. like as soon as i get up from the fall, i realize my knee is shot. at that time thinking that your whole season and possibley next season is done. so bad.

That sucks! Although this just goes to show, that if somebody doesnt wanna do something dont try to make them do it. Just leave it alone. Hope ya get better. pce.

That's exactly what it is man. It's so shitty that you hurt your knee, but it could have been a femur, or something along those lines. stay positive and work on something else, like filming or shooting photos.

best of luck dude. and get better

that sucks, my mountain isent even open yet and this was like 2cnd hit of the year and i was just doin a three on a pretty decent sized jump we built and my hood got in my face and i ate shit pretty hard....the snow on the land was really weird heavy snow and i hurt my knee, but i dont think its to bad
