hey,

if u are from whistler!!!--->

does anybody know dave? he is a gnarly snowboarder? he lived in the winter 2003/4 in a tent at the the creek in whistler with some french guys??

or do you know *charlie*, he is a pretty sick skier. he lives anywhere also in whistler..he skied in winta 03/04 the rossignol 'bc' and competed for example in the super pipe @ telus festival '04.

if you recognice them, please give me there email or any contact! it's really important!!!!!

i know both those boys. dave lived up fritz creek with two other french dudes named dave. chuck lived in his truck till he crashed it. dave and charley are both in white rock right now. charley is going to whistler either tomorrow or tuesday. i'll msg you his cell number. i lost dave's cell number though.

there was not one, but in fact three dave's who lived in tents over the winter. dave morris plus two frenchies. roughing it up the creek, they have a nice spot actually. if i ever tent it again, i'll join their community.

 
thats messed up id didnt know dave lived in a tent lol the things you miss never goiing to whistler

An underground shanty town would be pretty awesome.... Intrawest would probably find out and start charging you rent though.

^ wrong actually. there is a shanty town over at four lanes on the sea to sky. the shanty town was on property that was privately owned. when the owner died and the kids sold the land, they made special provisions with the new landowners so that the squatters could continue to live on the land. how's that?

 
I'm guessing the spot on the sea to sky where there are only 2 lanes.

On that note, there's a cabin somewhere in fitz creek I believe, french people usually live in it, a crazy quebecois transplant snowboarder lived in it for a year, it has no electricity, and the french snowboarder once had to beat a bear over the head with a skateboard to make it go away. I hear it's cheap rent if you can find it....I read about it in an old issue of snowboard Canada.

Id love to stay in a ghetto mining cabin or some shit like that. But alas, were renting a pimp town house, what can you do.

I just passed some guys on the highway in chilliwack. in an explorer form quebec with all their snowboards, bikes and gear stuffed in a trailer plastered with stencils. heading home after the season I guess. anyone know them by chance. they had a stencil that said spew crew. haha looked like good times
