Searching for playful skis that can do bigger jumps

Yeah so I am searching for ski that I can play around and do butters but also learn new tricks like flatspins etc.

I have been thinking line blends but are they so noodles that i will make learning tricks way harder?

Maybe magnus 102?

I have been riding bdogs and i want to switch to softer or more rocker skis.

Why for the custom?

i believe magnus is no longer signed with on3p therefore he did not have a pro model this year, forster meeks has a pro model instead but i do not know now that compares to the magnus 102

i could be wrong because magnus still has on3p in his ig bio

You’re contradicting yourself here. You want to learn bigger jump tricks but you said you want something softer with more rocker than the BDog. What’s your priority here, buttering and playing around or learning new jump tricks? If you want softer than the BDog pretty much the only option is the Blend. More rocker ≠ softer. Magnus 90 has more rocker but is stiffer. Skiers on ON3P make them look soft because they have good technique and the ski rewards high energy with big pop. It’s not like the BDog or the Blend where all you have to do is lean over the nose or tails. You gotta figure out what you want because right now you’re saying 2 things on the opposite sides of the park ski spectrum.

I think animator hit it head on.

Although the magnus 102 is a great butter ski, it seems as though you have to give it some muscle.

I’ve had blends. They were fun and soft but I’d like something a littttle bit stiffer on landings but still playful. ( also the durability was terrible and I even snapped a ski )

I haven’t ridden them yet, but I bought nomad 95s and they seem to be the exact ski you’re looking for.

Supposedly super playful/soft and nimble in the air since the weight is so damn low.

They have a little more rocker and a little more support than the blends and seem like a great progression ski.

There’s a bunch of clips of guys both buttering the hell out of them and sending huge dubs on big jump lines.

sounds like you want to play on the swings and still go on the big slides. Do you feel like you are in a playground?

Yeah it is a contradiction like everyone mentioned but skis that come to mind are ON3P Magnus line and Faction prodigy line. Both have heavy rocker but are stable so a kind of middle of the road. Not exactly PLAYFUL but you can f*ck wid it

I suggest the nomad 95

i have own and am in the process of getting another pair.

for jumps they are great because under foot is a flat zone that is very stiff while the rocker points in the tip and tail are very soft

the ski also has insane pop

i heard that their just out of stock for the rest of the year my buddy emailed them wondering why it wasn’t on the list and that was before magnus left

Prodigy doesn’t have nearly as much rocker as it used to. They updated the lines for 21/22, the skis are a bit softer overall (which ain’t sayin much cuz they’re pretty stiff) but they have a decent chunk less rocker

Crushin cans = mag 102

honestly I had great experiences with the Magnus 90 on jumps and rails, it has some pretty good support on bigger boosters. I could recommend the mango 90's which are prolly the same
