The new site design is good and all but...

THE SEARCH BAR IS 500X too big and makes the site look stupid.

i get the joke..haha.. but still. it cheapens the site. and it dominates over the logo...not good design my friends

vote for a smaller search bar..
 
no too many people don't realize that it's even there

maybe a teensy bit smaller but that's a good spot
 
yeah, its way too big, maybe just a tiny bit smaller...

I couldn't agree more, in all honesty it needs to be like HALF as big as it is. Its WAYYYYY too fucking big! I mean we all know half of NS is retarded but we don't have to make the search bar 2x as big just to compensate.
 
I vote to keep it the way it is right now, if anyone leaves this site or doesn't join just because the search bar is too big you can all punch me in the temple.
 
what about lil g? why cant we punch him in the temple instead?

It shouldnt dominate the site. It just makes the site less classy. Id rather see it on the right side of the screen above the site clothing/gear swap/stickers. If you moved the search bar but kept the size, than it wouldnt be that bad. All the other updates are sick though.
 
i thinks it's pretty sweet, the background is way better (at the top) but there is too much white around the options part of the searchbar

maybe true, but that still doesnt make it any better than horrible web design. It needs to be like 1/3 of the size and placed over above "Site Clothing | Gear Swap.... etc".

it looks so trashy there
