SEARCH BAR IDEA...

instead of bumpng my old thread...i am trying to bring this point across...searchbar wuold be much mroe effective if tit had a "entire thread" "only titles" selection, to enable one to pin point what he/she is looking for. i think this would be key...thoughts?

I agree one hundred percent... I was just trying to find a post... and I remember phrases within it but not the title. So I can't find it. Damn that search bar...

Amen. Also, the fact that it only displays 50 results is a problem. Type in "cork". I garunteee you that if you click on the 50th topic that comes up, some one will have said "use the search bar" in it. That's why it's become redundant. So many people have said "use the search bar" that it no longer turns up useful topics. (A little bit of exaggeration there, but still, you get the message...)

if you type what you want into google and then type newschoolers after it there is a very good chance that you'll get what you want. Good chance you won't too though.

BTW - type in search bar.. This debate has been going on for a long time!! funny... if all of you had used the search bar including myself , the thread should be about what or why hasn't the search bar evolved?
