Seans Car

I suppose 18 is pretty good. When I was working at the community center it was about 15-20 hours a week all year.

At least you're working, more than kevin can say.

Hahaha, yeah I am doing about 18 now and once school gets out I think I will pick up another shift or two (about 6hrs) so 24-30 hrs a week and then I will still have time to do other stuff. and be making lots of money, and I think I might be getting a raise and I get about $40 in tips a week. which pays for all my cost of living right now, actualy $5 would pay for my cost of living.

F that, more like a 10-7. I'm never going to be able to work in this corporate society, I don't function that early. Boeing has a late shift don't they? They've been recruiting hardcore up here for their 787, hopefully they'll send us all types of grants for the composites. I'm pretty sure they already fund all our materials.

Totally depends where you work in Boeing. Some people follow the rigid 1st shift schedule of 7:30-4pm. Then there's second shift which starts mid-dayish and third shift which is the night shift.

At flight test we loosely follow the 7:30-4pm, but really you can come in whenever you want and then just leave at the according time. I usually aim to get in at 6:30 so I can leave by 3, but I usually sleep in a bit and get there around 7.

When we're flying... well you just gotta be there when you gotta be there. Those can be long days.
