Seans Car

ya fwd = shitty traction for launch but great handling with the right suspension like what I have. my shit has 100% ZERO body roll when i take corners its like being on a roller coaster.

FWD has NEVER been good for handling (i'm not bashing your car, I'm sure it handles better than mine, hahaha). But with FWD the front wheels have to steer the car AND propel it, so you get crazy understeer. RWD is the best handling.

what kind of tires are you running?

i would rather have a car pull me around a corner than push, when u push is when u start to have problems. The best handling cars also are AWD cars for the most part at least. All i know is i have run with a few RWD nissans and a few RWD bmw's one of which was a brand new m3 and have also raced the corners with a few wrx's and none of them can keep up i dunno its wierd haha

trust me, I'm the BIGGEST fan of AWD (obviously), but it understeers like a mofo too. not as bad as FWD though. there's no way around it.

but again, i'm curious what tires you're on?

daam, where did you drive an m3? any comparison to a 330i? cuz my mom's 330 is hellla fast, and i cant imagine how fast an m3 would be

he didn't drive it, he says he was driving with them.

m3's are very fast, I'm gonna get one when I get my real job. I'm getting a CSL (along with my f430 and my exige).

my wagon's faster than your mom's 330 though......

From what I can find, a 330i will do 0-60 in about 6.1 seconds (not bad at all), while an M3 will do it in 5.2 seconds.....

my wagon does it in 5.2 seconds.....

A CSL is more like 4 seconds though, haha.

Yeah, its a BMW, hella luxury addons ya know

STi's are what, 4.8?

The new 2.5 WRX's are probably running pretty low now too... shits quick

wait what? 3 windshield wipers?! i haven't heard that

but they took a stock FJ Cruiser down to california and took it on the Rubicon trail. thats insane for any stock 4x4. not a single scratch or dent. i wish i had OEM rock sliders!

I know you can let a mclaren f1 get up to 100mph before a Veyron even sets off, and the Veyron will STILL beat the F1 to 200mph

Yeah, its seriously the coolest car ever. Its got 7 gears, and you don't go into 7th gear until going 215mph.

if you haven't seen that episode of top gear, go download it, its amazing.

Lexus redid one of their cars, I think it might of been the LS..? I dunno, the really high end, luxury one... but its got 8 f'n gears

oh yeah, and for future reference...

count em:

The no mod rule is still in place (the parents don't know I put my old sway bar on, but thats only 20mm, stock is 17mm)....

they won't know about the endlinks either, but these are MINOR changes.

endlink_rear03.jpg

I'm really curious how the endlinks are too, I didn't feel much difference between the 17 and 20mm bars (on my old car, going to 20 from 13 was HUGE). But I've heard that solid endlinks make almost as much difference as a bigger bar, so we'll see.

Do your parents ever drive your car? My parents noticed it immediatly, right when my dad went sideways into a turn up at crystal.. hahah

but yeah, stock endlinks feel super weak. how much were the perrins?

got the perrins for $60 from a guy in kenmore, they look PERFECT too!

My parents rarely drive my car, they would never notice something like that.

Put my summer wheels back on today, and MAN its different compared to my Dunlop Winter Sports. I'm used to the forgiveness those tires give, I forgot how AMAZINGLY sticky the yokohama's are, gonna take some getting used to!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its completely rekindled my love for photography.

screw engineering, ima be a photographer.

Need a bigger card though, 256 fills up with like 70 photos. Might be picking up a 2.2gb microdrive this week for $50. That would hold about 600-700 pictures (biggest size/best quality)

I like the sandisk extreme series, it has a faster write speed, so rapid fire shots/sequences are stored quicker, they also don't slow down up in the mountains

course, we're talking milliseconds of a difference, and 50 is a good deal

me and kevin were behind a crazy 350Z the other day at taco time, and the question came to my mind, which is faster? A WRX or a Z?

0-60 for the Z is 5.7 seconds, WRX is 5.2. add it to the list.

oh and solid endlinks kick ass... and so does rain-x (I was a rain-X virgin until just a few days ago)

and you always made fun of me for loving it so much. but i've made the next step with my sweet wipers. i haven't put rain x on my 4Runner for so long but the piaa wipers constantly applies rain x type stuff.

its a car that 99% of the ski/snowboard community owns. lol i go to baker and i see like 79612346126374619236947961298364986123946192364816239461236491263496123496123641623486198236498 subaru's

I want one... but I'm losing even my mercury for a while... and in the summer I'm negotiating to borrow my parent's van... fucking rear wheel drive POS... but that's only so that I don't have to pay rent... YaY 4 living in a van.

desperation sucks.

saving up to get my own place later... that's how I'm saving up is puting all the money I would have put into rent into savings so that I can build up a large savings so that next winter, when I move to mammoth or tahoe or wherever the hell I end up, I don't have to work and I can ski all the time... you gotta suffer to succeed... also in the summer I'm gonna be working 2 jobs, one in bellingham and one in renton, and going to school so I'll only be in the van like 3-4 nights a week... my life is going to be hell and I won't have time for friends anyway so I don't see why it matters where I sleep and work on homework... plus saves $400 a month
