Saying that racing is easy is like saying the throwing a rodeo 5 is easy. Its ridiculous either way. Sure there alot of dick racers, but there alot of dick jibbers. And some racers can't ski the rest of the mountain, and some jibbers can't ski the rest of the mountain. And spandex looks kind of stupid, but so do those bandanas some jibbers where. People who are being narrow minded about this just need to take a step back and look at the whole picture.

personally i just love skiing in general. freeskiing is for sure the best, but i race on my high school team and i love it. i like the competition and pushing myself and becoming a better skier. not as fun as powder or the park, but still fun. and i dont know why people are saying racers can't ski off of groomers. every racer i know rips all over the mountain and it just doesn't make sense for someone to be able to ski a slalom course but not powder.

Hey man, I am a racer, and i dont think that I am any better than any of you. On the contrary, I think that you guys could kick my ass at freestyle, as I have only just begun to try it. The only thing that I don't like about this thread is the fact that some people think that racing is EASY. That may be true for some people who naturaly have A LOT of talent (Bode Miller, Herman Maier, Daron Rahlves, etc...), but not for most. IT takes a lot of thinking, and a lot of balance/cordination
