I legitimately like the genre - and it's not just "RAH GRAH FUCK HELL SATAN DEATH WHINE CRY EMO". I don't really like that kind. I'm not a dumbass. I, like a lot of people on here like real singing, too, and the best 'screamo' (not really the correct name) has a good mix of both. It's real music... hell, it's more music than Dubstep. People just brush it off - "IT'S JUST SCREAMING. I MEAN COME ON." I think it sounds really cool, intense and fun.

Now I don't want to see what meager karma I have to plunge so please read this and maybe it will stop you from destroying my karma: This is not a force thread. This is an appreciation thread. I just like it, AND I'M FINDING OUT WHO ELSE DOES. I don't need people commenting useless shit. Please. Just make your own screamo hate thread.

I like a lot of genres. so don't think i'm an un - cultured jackass.
 
I can't stand screamo or heavy metal at all no matter the circumstances but I will listen to dub step rarely when it feels right ya know
 
only two screamo songs i like. first one because of the lyrics, second one because it gets me so fucking pumped up.

Some of The Devil Wears Prada songs are cool. Like Ben Has A Kid or Louder Than Thunder (ik it's not screamo but it's still a good track by them)

i actually just realize that i also like the song Don't Go by BMTH

the lyrics are SO fucking powerful and apply to everyone whether through a religious belief or a relationship with another person.

So what kind of screaming are you talking about? Like Silverstein, old Underoath? Or A Day To Remember or Bring me the Horizon? Or more like Whitechapel, the Acacia Strain, or War of Ages?

If so, I'm feelin ya. Pause.
 
not really silver or old UO, but anything from Emery to ABR. War of ages, I have all those on my iPod. ADTR, though is kinda meh.
 
used to listen to a lot of metalcore, one of my favorite bands was The Word Alive
