I get 20% off of wholesale on rossi, through my work. Im going to get some scratches, how do they do in powder? Im also heads how they do in bumps and at high speeds.

Dont forget your snorkle ~ Bridger Bowl

you're not a big girl so the girth of the scratch should do you just fine in pow....i'm guessing you don't weigh over 120 so they should be stable enough at speeds - are you getting reg scratch or FS?

si senorita.....girth is good (ski-wise at least).....if you don't know how to ski you won't be able to handle a fat ski on ice or moguls

but i doubt you'll have any probs.....i just got my first pair of fats this season and i'll never go back

if you like them fatter, go for it. I also like my skis fatter. I have the BCs, the width is great and they are sick in pow. You will love them so much, you may start sleeping with them

sounds like you'll make a lot of guys on this site jealous if you sleep with your BC's

the shortest the come in is 176cm for the bc. I might pick a pair up and mount them on the forward mount, as my park ski.

The BC is definatley a good ski, great in pow, great in the park, just a little heavy but no big deal. and theyre pretty good on hardpack, like a GS ski. buy em

Weight differential is 2.070 lbs (Scratch BC 176) to 1.790 lbs (Scratch FS 174). It's not a huge difference, obviously, cause the only thing thats making them heavier is the width.

^do you have similar information on more skis? where did you find that out anyway?

I can't remember where i got it, I looked up a bunch of stats on that stuff when I was looking at buying Scratches, and I remembered the weights.

I would say go for the BC's if powder is on your list at all, i would probably go for the FS, since i dont really notice that much of a difference between powder skis and park skis.

^of course not, but you can't deny it's true....fatter skis definitely make a girl more attractive
