Scratch question

ok - this is going to sound stupid, but just wondering do you need a wider brake to mount the scratch FS (grey/green ones)

Just got a pair of the 180cm for dirt cheap and its got an 80mm waist which is kinda boarder line of the average brake width. DOnt want to get the normal brake only to find that its going to 'rub' up against the sidewalls

 
you shouldn't have to bend them too much, and a little bit of rubbing is ok

Nah, wide brakes not really necessary, but I dunno why you'd want bindings that don't have them. Get rossi scratches, you won't regret it.
