'You're from Ontario, and you're an idiot, meaning that your opinion can pretty much automatically be dismissed worthless. Yes, I can back that up, I used to live there. Moving to BC really opened up my eyes to what skiing is really about. HINT: Skiing isn't about tiny verticals, shit talking, and private clubs galore. Get the fuck out of Glen Eden and Craigleith or Caledon, and get real.'-what jib this thinks of me

Scratch FS would be good. Scratch is gonna handle better on moguls and pow. Tweak is gonna carve better. Both are good in park.

Screw this I'm going skiing

scratch fs are a little beefier so they're gonna be better than the tweaks in pow and they rip in the bumps cause they're so soft and flexy. i got a pair myself and i don't regret getting them at all.

I would go for the Scratch not the Scratch FS is your doing moguls

SMILE, its the second best thing you can do with ur mouth

i rode the scratch bc the other day and they were sooooooooooo sic i have the stomps and i like them alot too tough call

SKI FOR LIFE!

If it was easy it would be called snowboarding.

i personally like the tweaks better myself. i'd try to demo both if possible.

'til now, i had a race carver ski(rossi easy carving) in 150 or like that(child ski). I often ski with my parents and than just piste and I often make short swings and I like to carve and go SOME faster sometimes.

But in the winter I go in a powder camp, where we just do freeriding and some piste and jumps.

Also in moguls I skiied my carver until now, it was okay.

And in the park I am not such a good skier, but on piste and BC.

In the park my best trick is a mute grab and a 360 on smaller ones.

So you see, I need a ski for everything, and not two ones(money).

The AR5 is too expensive and not to get here and a little exaggerated for a german, 14 year old normal skier my parents think(please no comments any more).

So the Tweak and the Scratche FS's are to get and I don't want the normal Scratches because I am not a such bad skiier! ;D

So which one is where better?

The better alrounder, better one for me(45kg7165).

I would get the Scratch in 168 with the Axium 10 and the Tweak 163. i don't know a god Atomic Binding for it, so if you know a good one for a lightweight skieer girl, please tell me :)

reviews are always wished :-)

Best wiches and please answer very much.

Tweaks are a stiffer ski than the Scratches, which makes them more suitable to all mountain riding. The narrower waist theoretically will help you in the moguls, but the 2mm difference isn't going to change much. I'd go with the Tweaks, they are both good skis, but for your type of riding go with the Tweaks.

thank you! something like taht is fantastic! more opinions?(why chose scratch). and i really need it for everywhere, so tweak sounds good...

i like answers...ALWAYS

i've ridden on both scratches and tweaks and i find for my style of riding, which consists of park and other stuff (including carving), that the tweak helps me out a lot. i don't spend as much in the moguls as you do but i from my brief experience in the moguls with the tweaks, i found that they help up very well. in the end, i went with K2 PE's, but that's a whole different story.

judging by your style of riding, i'd def go with the tweaks tho

ok, i race and do park, but only bring one pair of skis, so on days that i mess around in the park, i bring my tweaks. i do eventually head off into the rest of the mountain, and make some nice gs turns and carve turns on the tweaks. they are good for carving alot if you are into sharpening your own skis, because if you hit the rails the edges tend to dull down fast, and theyll be less effective for carving, but fo sho theyre a good all around ski. i have them in 163cm and theyre perfect. i can make small turns on steeps and what not. if u got any questions email me skier1182@yahoo.com peace

if youre light the tweak are gunna kick your ass in the moguls because they are stiff..theyre gunna throw you around.the scratch fs woulks be better if your soingmoguls

definatly go with the scratches they flex a lot more that the tweaks. they have better edges to for sweet jibs and since they flex more they are better for butters and for the pipe.
