Scratch Ghetto and Brigade

I have decided on buying the 2008 Rossi Scratch Ghetto WRS and the Brigade WRS and i was wondering what sizes i should buy. I am 155 pounds and am 5' 7".

The sizes offered are:

Brigade: 171, 178, 185

Ghetto: 167, 174, 181

The ghettos would be for jibing and park, and the Brigades would be for everything else.

Thanks

i dont actually have the ghetto but my scratch fs are the exact same thing.

are you still growing?

would you prefer increased stability in the longer ski, or the light swing weight manageability of the shorter ski?

personally, i would ride either a 174 or a 181. 74's are going to be easier to throw around, 181's and going to provide more stability. i rode a 174 at your size last season.

with that being said, i've got some brand new in plastic size 174 ghettos that i'd let go for 400 shipped if you're interested...

don't be afraid of the longer sizes... sounds like you prefer skis a little on the short side, so a 174 ghetto would be money, but you should probly get a 178 brigade at your size. if you're a stong skier and you know it, go 178. if you're not so much, go 171. but seriously, my ghettos are still in plastic, size 174. i can post pictures if you want, there might actually still be a couple pics in my threads about sellin' 'em. i don't know where you can get 'em any cheaper...

no, they are not... ghetto are much lighter and a bit wider I think.

get the STZ instead of the brigade, even if you have to spray/sticker the hideous graphic.

I am already getting a sick deal on the skis. there is no way i am gettinf the steezes as i only get out to the mountains 2-3 times a year.

178 just seems like too much ski for me tho, i was skiing a 166 last winter. The 171 brigade and 174 ghetto just seem like the perfect sizes

any thoughts im 6ft and 220lbs im trying to decide between the ghetto and the brigade, i demoed the ghetto in a 174 last yr and they were good but im thinking the wider 171 brigade might be better.???? i heard the brigade was harder to turn in powder for heavier ppl.

i just got the brigade pros and i am only in the park for jumps, only rails on comp days.. so -2 cm mounted is a good idea right?
