volkl, stockli, and igneous are the best in my opinion. i haven't seen too many problems with dynastar, atomic, fisher, or head either. i've seen more bandits explode under the stupid VAS thing than i can count. i know numerous people who go through 3 or 4 pairs of rossignols a year. they ski great, i'm not saying that they don't, but you might have to deal with warranties a lot more than you want to. just depends on where your prioreties lie. i've also talked to 5 or so people who have actually broken the tail off of the pocket rockets. i know that my x-screams broke in about 15 days. i will probably never buy a rossignol, line, or salomon unless they can start making more durable skis.
