Ugly and soft, I dont think so. I ski the Scratch FS 174cm, they are not soft, they ski awesome in the park and out of the park. They have tons of pop, and carve super smooth. They are not ugly either Don't diss the ski unless you have rode on it

a friend i know has them in 180. he loved them, said they had tons of pop and spun great, but he also broke them in about 4 hours. and he was doing tables that were no more the 40 feet, and didn't land flat or anything. other then the duribility, they sound great.

 
I've hit a few 40+ foot tables and mine are fine. If they do break i'll be pissed though.

i think the skis sound cool, but as with all of the rossignol ski the duribility is crap. like the scratch. look at the bandit series. if you look at the bandit XXX and xx, they would be absoultly sick skis if they didn't break when you as much as farted too close to it.

 
if rossi has durability issues, what skis don't?

volkl, stockli, and igneous are the best in my opinion. i haven't seen too many problems with dynastar, atomic, fisher, or head either. i've seen more bandits explode under the stupid VAS thing than i can count. i know numerous people who go through 3 or 4 pairs of rossignols a year. they ski great, i'm not saying that they don't, but you might have to deal with warranties a lot more than you want to. just depends on where your prioreties lie. i've also talked to 5 or so people who have actually broken the tail off of the pocket rockets. i know that my x-screams broke in about 15 days. i will probably never buy a rossignol, line, or salomon unless they can start making more durable skis.

 
dude, suppossedly the scratches are indestructable, i havent had any problems with mine, i cant even count how many times ive decked in the pipe wicked hard, all i have are a few chips or whatever...and they dont have that gay VAS thing like the bandits, totally new consrtuction...THC, triple hybrid construction, or something like that, thats what they said

yeah ill bet they rock. im small (105lbs) and i dont go that huge so they would hold up great, i think...
