Okay, so i can get the Public Enemy 179 for $349, and i can get last year's Scratch FS 180 for $300. Which one do you think i should get, and why? right now, i'm leaning towards the Public Enemys, i just wanna see what you all think.

PE's all the way. I've tried the PE and the Scratch (BC mind you) and the PE's own it.

I've skied them both. It depends a lot on how you ski. I noticed that in just skiing terms you have to be on top of the PE's or they run away from you. The FS is a lot more forgiving. I didn't notice a profound difference in the way they skied in the park, but I'm not very good, so that may have a lot to do with it. Really, you should go ski them both then pick which one you like the best.

THe Pes probably ski better but a lot of the early releases of the skis are breaking so I've been told. K2 warranties well, but it is a hassle so its probably better to go with Scratchs. But I just bought Trouble Makers for 450$ cdn, and they are the shit.

they both perform equally well in the park, but the scratchs are a bit stiffer, so if you want to focus more on bigair, big backcountry jumps, then get the scratchs. if you want a ski with a lot of pop, and a softer tail, then go PEs. both sick skis, id go with the scratchs
